I work late and live an hour away. REALLY?? no OTHER TIME COULD BE AVAILABLE? The Hall looks great, but I never got to even see it due to this one person's POWER TRIP! Really disappointed. I could have brought them A LOT of business at least 5 rentals a year. Now, it is temporarily closed. Awaiting the doors to re-open and hopefully under a new regime.

About 2 weeks before the party we called Kaitlyn and told her it was going to turn into our surprise wedding! She continued to be so helpful and excited, giving recommendations for all kinds of vendors we'd need. The day of the party she was professional and hands-on, making sure everything got done on a quick timeline. She calmed nerves and had great suggestions on where things should go to make sure everything flowed just right. Beautiful historic building who's tour guides added in a true life murder mystery of the lady of the houses death. This really added to the event as it was so my scene and absolutely fun. They also had a whiskey tasting since she was poisoned with whiskey which is ironically amazing. I would def host an event here because unlike the Newport mansions I could touch things and see things in the midst of being historically preserved since they're still restoring the house. I believe this closes at sunset but I've been out here at sunrise and it's been pretty quiet until 9:30 am or so. There are a few walking trails and the docks/front of the boathouse (the cement areas) do flood during heavy rain. Definitely a Glastonbury community symbol... :) Lots of kids fishing on the dock/by the river. Playground on the premises & then the Glastonbury parks and rec manages the fields behind the clubhouse. I've been here when there was a wedding and it seemed intimate and romantic. I'm a big fan of this spot!

My daughters wedding went off with out a hitch! Alli and the whole family were great. The venue provides a barn, where the groom and his groomsmen were able to hang out before the wedding. The farmhouse had a private area for my daughter and her bridesmaids to get ready. The room was beautifully decorated and was perfect for pictures. I can't say enough about our day, we arrived early and were greeted by Alli and fresh fruit and champagne. Everything was decorated beautifully, the staff was helpful, the food was great, the cake was beautiful.....and we loved the chickens! The venue provided so many opportunities for great pictures, and did I mention how nice everyone was?? I highly recommend this venue and Alli for all your wedding needs!

One of the wedding this year the lights in the grass parking area they had the light pointed right at our house till almost midnight and not able to go to sleep. The part that really makes me made is if we make noise that bothers them during the day it is a big issue how is that fair. I am not against them doing this but they could be more considerate. I also do not understand how they can have this go on till midnight when the noise ordinance is 10 pm. Shouldn't they have a paved parking lot for parking. This is just a little bit of the problems there is much more I could go on about.
