In November of 2025 the changed the pricing. I went in knowing the price change according to their online booking service Vagaro. Vagaro clearly list the teen cut as $30. I'd give 0 stars if possible. If you value your hair enough that you are looking for a haircut that is just even, then this IS NOT the place for you. I had Enzo who was rushing through the cut like he had somewhere to be. He clearly wasn't paying attention to anything because he asked me the same questions multiple times. A kid out of barber school could have done a better job than him. I left totally dissatisfied and am now looking for another barber shop to see if I have any recourse other than buzzing my head. He went too short and too uneven. I'm shocked with the good reviews because I've never receive a worse haircut in my life. I've been going for a little over 2 years now and have been nothing but satisfied, I'm a 60+ year old guy who would prefer a walk in, old time barber shop, but those days seem to be gone. That said, I couln't be happier with Jared. Way younger but understanding of what an older balding guy needs. I'm not related to anyone in the shop and not friends with them or their parents or relatives in any way, and I question the negative reviews about them. First off, if you're coming from the Theater District in NY, Hoboken or Bristol PA to get your haircut in Red Bank, your a little off balance to begin with. Related to a competitor??? Maybe. So, local guy with no ties to the shop and aside from them being so much younger and better looking than I am (but isn't everyone nowadays?) I think they do a great job. These guys are top-notch, whether it be an actual well-blended fade (seeing what some others try to pass off as one is appalling at the price-points they charge) - or the seemingly lost art of cutting with scissors; going to anyone who attempts to cut hair over/under a certain age category. I wouldn't hesitate to hand the reigns over to Jordan or Riccardo, if you're in search of a quality cut. They're experienced enough to "get" it; and young enough to keep with the developing trends. I've gotten two haircuts here now. The first was okay but not good enough for me to go back a second time. I'm new to the area and forgot the name of the place, so I mistakenly made a second appointment. I showed up for my appointment right on time and the barber who was supposed to be cutting my hair was just seating somebody else in his chair. Falling behind is understandable but he showed no sense of urgency to get the haircut done. He said he'd get me in with somebody else as soon as he could but allowed several walk-ins (who had admittedly arrived before me) to be seated first. What's the point of booking appointments if you're not going to follow them? Besides all of that the haircut I got is terrible. The back of my head is a mess. I got the haircut yesterday, the back of my head is crooked and the left side of the back of my neck wasn't fully shaved. They also purposely don't make it clear that they're cash only so that you'll have to use their ATM and pay the fee. They've got a modern looking payment system (like Clover or Square) to make it seem like they take cards so that you won't think about it being cash only until it's too late. The guy who was supposed to be cutting my hair said as much to somebody while I was getting my cut. read more

A very rare one star review. I called Bob about 15 minutes before I showed; they were helpful on the phone and I felt confident going there. Here is where things took a turn for the worse. When I walked in there was absolutely nobody there. I waited for a little bit and then I tried calling them to see if the phone would bring them back from wherever they were...no dice. I looked all over the place because I wanted to make sure that maybe they were duct taped or something in the back, who knows, that wasn't the situation. I took a seat and one of the chairs, waited around a bit longer and no one ever showed up. I was told that there was at least two guys working plus the guy that answered the phone so I don't know where they all went. I have theories that involve everything from all going to get a bite to eat to nefarious activities. Not a good experience, pretty much no experience. Fortunately I was able to find a place in the area where the employees were present and that worked out well. read more

I used to hate getting my haircut.. I always walked out looking different than the last time. At Broad Street Barbers, I prefer Jordan to cut my hair and my little brother prefers Riccardo. This rating is strictly for my experience with Broad Street Barbers, not the haircut because I never got that far. I scheduled an appointment with Ricardo last week at 10am. Got there a little early and the place was empty as in no barbers or front end staff. The man working in the front finally showed up and had no clue where Ricardo was, but said he should be in soon. Waited for about an hour before I decided to leave. Three other customers left during this time too. I didn't ask for it, but the man at the front desk gave me a gift card for a free haircut as compensation for the inconvenience. I decided to give them another try and rescheduled for the following week for 9:30am. I park my car and get a call at 9:15am seeing if I can come later in the day because "Ricardo is running behind". They wanted to offer me another free haircut due to yet again another inconvenience. I declined and decided that strike two was enough and didn't feel that I wanted to test my luck for a third try. What a waste of my time. Taking my business elsewhere and never trying to come back again. Couldn't be more upset with how this whole thing was handled and how unprofessional Ricardo was. read more

The quality of the haircut is second-to-none. I've been using these guys (Jordan and Ricardo) since they were with another barber shop, and they do an amazing, thorough and professional job. I've used other barbers in the area and have been butchered for just a few dollars less. It's a little pricey (30 dollars per haircut), and sometimes it's a little busy even when you have an appointment, but there is no one better in the area. They are also very fun, entertaining guys and are great with kids (whether your kids are actually getting haircuts or just waiting for yours to be done). It's a nice, comfortable shop with WiFi and cable TV on a big screen. All in all, if you're looking for the best haircut around, this is your place. read more

Great cut! I moved down to the area and had put off finding a place to cut my hair for 10 months, so I had a full shag look. I used to go to Mad One Jacks in Hoboken. All I really knew is that I wanted to clip down the back and sides. He understood that my hair needed to either be short or long enough to style in different areas (otherwise it sticks straight out).
