I visited this barbershop on a whim last week, and I'm sure glad I did. It had been a while since I had been to the barber because I was growing my hair out, but had decided to get my usual fade cut. I went as a walk in and was able to get what I consider a 10 out of 10 haircut. The barber's name was Joey and his skill and craftsmanship is top-notch. It's too bad that I'm from out of town because I would definitely make him my regular barber and this location my barbershop. The location itself has plenty of parking nearby. Inside, the barbershop has an awesome vibe. They sell local products for your hair that are as amazing as the haircuts they provide. If you are new to the Belmar area or are looking for a new barber, I would recommend this spot (and specifically Joey) to anyone. If excellent service isn't enough, the prices are super reasonable as well. Anytime I'm by the jersey shore. I am sure I will find myself here! read more

I haven't gotten a better haircut in years. I first saw Justin a few weeks ago and he did an amazing job fixing what another barber almost destroyed. I couldn't have been happier with Justin's haircut. My second time in the shop was also great - this time I saw Jake and he did another terrific job. I would normally get haircuts at Supercuts and place like that, but I really enjoyed this. It's like getting a haircut to the next level really professionally done overall great experience they get so much more detail with your hair than normal place really cool vibes and there would definitely. read more

My son was supposed to have an appointment a few days ago but he wasn't feeling up to having his haircut. My wife called in at 9:45am, 45 minutes before my appointment to tell them he wasn't feeling well and that we wouldn't be able to make it. They said they couldn't issue a refund or a credit for a future appointment because they already had the card on file. My wife called back five minutes later saying okay, we will come in then - then She got a call from the owner, Dan, who leaves me a voicemail 25 minutes before the appointment actually telling her CANT come in to get my sons haircut because She said he was sick and it's too risky. Too risky that he has a stomach ache? They then had the audacity to bill us $20 after actually telling her they physically could not come in. Had no interest in offering a refund or even a future credit for a service that wasn't performed because of his "policy." Does your policy say that you have the right to tell me not to come in but you will bill me otherwise? Take a lesson in customer service. We did the right thing but not bringing a sick child to get a haircut, I expect a business to reciprocate, but clearly not here. He is offering kids cuts but is completely out of touch with the fact that kids get sick.... all the time. I'll be sure to tell all of my friends with young children to never step foot in this place read more

Best darn Barbershop in the area. Been a client of Dan for a number of years now and he's a real pro. Would definitely recommend.

Great barbers but lousy policies. If you try to cancel/reschedule appointment within 24 hours you still will be charged for the full service and for the newly rescheduled service. Do restaurants charge you for dinner if you need to reschedule a dinner reservation? No they don't. Feeling under the weather and need to reschedule? Tough luck because the credit card used to reserve the appointment will still be charged in full. On my previous haircut I had to wait 30 minutes because they were behind......no one offered me a free haircut because they could not keep up their end of the bargain. I showed up 15 minutes late the next time and was rejected service but still charged. Worse than a doctor's office. Stick with Pat's across the street. Walk ins welcome there and rates are 2/3 the price and no hassle. read more
