I've been going to Twisted for eight months now, so my old review is due for an update! Ok, so I…read morewas kind of a chunky beer slob when I first moved here. My mom started taking me to barre and yoga with Jackie, and I am seriously a new person. Actually, I'm about 20 pounds less of a person. My mom describes barre as "ballet on steroids," and that is a very good thing, my friends! Not to toot my own horn too much, but (comparatively, anyway), I look hot. I'm no spring chicken, but some 20-year-old guy whistled at me the other day. That's how good Jackie is at her job. I have a lot of old sports injuries and my ankles are utterly destroyed. I've had to cut back on running big time and there's not a lot I can do without limping for the next week or so. This has been bumming me out for years, but barre and yoga are both low impact enough that I can go 4 times a week without feeling any extra pain. Don't get me wrong though, these classes are HARD. Like, thigh-shaking, gasping for breath, I can't walk the next day difficult. Still, they're amazing! I feel so strong and good about myself, and Twisted is a really friendly and nice place to work out. I love it, and you should check it out asap!

In additional to various practices of yoga classes, there are frequently scheduled specialty classes like Reiki Infused Soundbath, Meditation and Movement. Plus the services of CryoTherapy, Salt Therapy, Infrared Sauna Therapy, Ionic Footbaths, Reiki and Massage Therapy all available under the same roof. What a local treasure in Beaver County!

If I could give zero stars I would. Start is VERY…read morejudgmental. WAY over priced, $65 a month for a gym that is only open half the time. They close the pool at 6 pm for scheduled classes, they close on Fridays at 1pm. So for those of you with a JOB don't plan on getting a work out Friday unless it's 5 am. Saturdays close at 1pm and Sundays they aren't open. They expect you to pay $65 for this, while $10 a month gyms are open 24/7/365. If you are not upper middle class, or rich, don't bother going to this gym. They will treat you less than them. Find any reason to can to try and revoke your membership if they think you being at their gym doesn't promote their status to the public eye. Not the entire public eye either. Like I said all these people care about is status among the wealthy. They don't care about you. This gym has been under new ownership since around 2018 I believe? And the new owners are the ones who have made this gym this way. It used to be a welcoming place with flexible hours. Now it's a club for rich and snobby. Stear clear of this place for your own mental sake.
