They seemed to have too much on their plate and took on too many moms and deliveries to be able to give full attention to me. I had some complications in my pregnancy. Labs weren't posted timely, I would literally have a blood test taken and 2 weeks would go by and I had another blood test taken before the first one was posted. I was told something would get done the next day and I'd have to remind them 2 or 3 times. I felt like I was not valued and she was "too busy" and made plenty of excuses as to why she didn't get something finished when she said she would. I ended up switching to another midwife and fully regret not switching sooner. It took over 32 days to receive my refund. I felt a huge weight lifted when I switched midwives! I should have switched after my first appointment and got the hint about the red flags then, when I received a phone call "I had a patient that needed to schedule an ultrasound, was that you?" she couldn't remember who she was supposed to schedule an ultrasound for and called everyone asking. Also, in my first appt with her she answered the phone 3 times and took calls from her family and was distracted and the appointment was supposed to be an hour and was 2 hours long because of all the distractions. Definitely interview other midwives before committing to this one! I'd hate for anyone to go through the hell I went through with Kairos Midwifrey.
