This office did root canals on my teeth 19 and 30 in late 2020 and the start of 2021. The office did not fully clean out Tooth 19's canals, and they missed an entire canal in Tooth 30. Two years later I learned that I had infection of the bone at these two locations. I needed to spend over $4,000 to have both teeth retreated. Only after calling the office four times asking to speak with Dr. Rohit Patel was I told by a "Stephanie" that the office's "hands were tied" as I had signed a release and I elected to have the teeth retreated by an alternative doctor (in this case a qualified Endodontist). read more

Unfortunately my experience is regarding their business practices. I was asked to come in and interview for a hygienist position upon meeting the office manager the requirements discussed did not meet the job listings description. I believe it is purposely done so more people with apply and interview and once there, perhaps compromise and take the position. Definitely a red flag for me! read more

Clean, neat office. Very knowledgeable and charming staff. Dr. Patel very knowledgeable. The younger dentist also seems excellent. I get the impression from blogs that the office could use an equipment update. I had no problem. I had the dental hygienist perform a root check up. He did a great job. I then had to come back to see Dr. Patel. He explained what was going on with my lower rear molar. He said that to leave it alone and if it bothers me to come back and it would be removed. I don't know what happened to other people who seemed to not have had a positive experience. But, so far, so good and I am very pleased with the service I received. One star is too many. He did a root canal and after a few months, I was having pain in the tooth. My dentist took X-rays and discovered that Dr. Patel LEFT THE ROOT intact and didn't complete the root canal. Both my dentist and a second opinion endontist told me NOT TO GO BACK. I paid the second endontist $1800 to fix the mess Dr. Patel made. I have requested my money back and now the office won't even take my calls, answer my texts or my emails. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! My crown fell out after 2 months, I was on vacation for the summer and had to have a local dentist replace it. The local dentist said it was the worst dental work he has ever seen! I tried to get a reimbursement for the money I had to pay to have the crown put back in but I got the run around for serval weeks. Horrible customer service. I also have the temporary fall out, they hit a blood vessel in my face with a needle, made my face swell out and a huge bruise formed for 3 weeks. read more

I went to two years worth of appointments for a root canal gone bad. They had to extract my tooth, a bone graft, do gum shaping, and inserting an implant. 10 months later my gum is much higher than the rest of my teeth and my front tooth is gray because they chose the wrong underlay color. How as a patient am I supposed to know this? After telling me it would be $1800 and then in trying to increase the price before I started my treatment everything has been terrible the entire time. Dr. Patel now wants me to pay $3500 to correct the mistake that his last oral surgeon made. They are crooks and don't know what they're doing and if I could give them zero stars I would read more

The worst dental experience I have ever had! They had no respect for my time. They sent many text message about respecting the doctor's time to make sure I was on time. They kept me waiting in the chair for 45 minutes until I walked out. I tried to explain to them nicely that I had to cancel my other appointment to be there on time. I called the manager and all of the office staff to hear my complaint and the dentist would not even look at me. He was a human disgrace to his profession. No one said I am sorry. I wasted an hour and half to be there. There was no response. They were blank faced and did not have any acceptable reply, as if I did not exist. It looked like an over priced dental mill run by a dentist who was feathering his retirement nest. Stay away! Stay away! Horrible experience. I should also add that two weeks earlier, I went there and I got seated that time as well, but the dentist never showed up and was not in the office, so, this was my second attempt to be seen. This business replaced West Hill, I wish them well and hope they can make upgrades. Parking on street. The new business is learning how West Hill has really old technology. They are still using huge needles for anesthesia, I had to move to another chair because there was no power going to the tools to remove cavity. I made a few visits. They are Only open 3 days. Mondays are great for me so far because I am off Monday. I love the reception, they speak professionally unlike West Hill which had terrible receptionists. I never met Dr. Patel. I heard they have a bigger better dental office in Mt. Vernon but I have NO desire to go out of my way out of my community. I come here because they take my dental insurance and close by. So far, I have had Dr. Schwatz who seems really nice, and another dentist, forgot her name, maybe she also goes by the name Patel which is an extremely common name, probably not related to the owner. Both my dentists are young, appear to be in their 20s. So I am a little nervous but they seem to know well what they are doing, patient. My son was fine because his teeth appeared healthy, he had plaque. My daughter has more issues with her rear molars, she is young and they told her she needed a root canal and she was shocked that the equipment was old, she complained also about the old anesthesia needle and asked me to find a place with modern technology for a 2nd opinion. I will give it few more tries for me and my son. I need Tarrytown or Sleepy Hollow recommendations for my daughter read more
