The Sledzionko came with a mixture of herring, pickles, apples, and onion in a chilled sour cream sauce; and the LO!Sos came with a creamy sauce of mascarpone, sour cream, lemon, dill, and chives topped with a slice of smoked salmon. Both dishes came with three chunks of roasted potato, which had crispy skin and were nicely seasoned with salt, dill, and chives. We also got a creamy coleslaw on the side to go with the potatoes, but my favorite part was definitely the herring salad, which had just the right balance of briney/seafoody flavors, a refreshing crunch, and a creamy, herbaceous sauce!

The walls have a bright, colorful painting and the rooms are cramped with tables. This will create some trouble if you actually want to get to a table, or somewhere else, even if there are only a dozen people in there. On the other hand you have a lot of choices what you want to eat, and several of them are vegan. Sadly, again, the clerks don't seem to be very experienced with that. They can serve it, but just because of their routine they will pour yogurt sauce over your salad. Watch them closely and yell at the right time ;) The food itself is okay, but nothing special. Aber die veganen Gerichte sind leider nicht markiert, man sollte besser nachfragen, da auch nicht alle Zutaten 100%ig draufstehen. Man kann leider nicht außen sitzen, sondern nur innen. Die Wandbemalung ist recht freundlich, trotzdem bleibt die Atmosphäre etwas steril. Es stehen so viele Tische wie möglich drin, sodass man sich entweder total an anderen Menschen vorbeiquetschen muss oder ziemlich lange Umwege um dutzende Tische herumnehmen muss - auch wenn nur ein Dutzend Leute insgesamt da sind. Positiv: Die Auswahl ist überraschend groß und jeder sollte es etwas Ansprechendes finden. Es gibt sogar mehrere vegane Gerichte. Allerdings scheinen die Küchenfeen mit dem Begriff "vegan" dann doch nicht so häufig konfrontiert zu werden: auch wenn etwas veganes bestellt, werden sie einem aus reiner Gewohnheit einen kräftigen Klacks Joghurtsoße auf den Salat hauen - besser ein paar mal vorwarnen. Der Geschmack selber ist dann doch aber wieder so ein bisschen auf Mensa-Niveau. Aber hey, man sollte es auf jeden Fall mal ausprobieren! So schnell und problemlos kriegt man ja sonst nicht wieder was veganes in Posen zwischen die Kiemen.

Their restrooms were clean but only single use. We were seated immediately close to closing and the food service was fast! They offered table-service which was nice. I has the spaghetti carbonara and my date has the ravioli. Ravioi was not marinara but a meaty/mushroom sauce. He likes it but I enjoyed my meal much more. However this was not traditional carbonara as it had cream but it was delicious! It was rich and creamy and usually when reheating left overs its not great but I was able to eat my take-home meal and it tasted fresh! Zero complaints here. It was our first visit and I already want to go back for more Carbonara. Yum!!
