Dr. Brodsky has worked hard to take care of my teeth. I presented to him a challenging set of teeth but he replaced my old, dark fillings with beautiful crowns. He has worked very hard--above and beyond (others in the past) to give me the most comfortable and appealing smile. Yvonne is one of the best dental hygienists I've ever had. I've been going to Dr. Brodsky for years and have nothing but nice things to say and would highly recommend him. He and staff are professional. They know me and my daughter and welcome us every time we go which makes me feel like they actually care and take an interest in their patients to remember patients by name, without looking at the schedule. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Brodsky for the past 14 years. He isa ship in the storm of tooth pain and overall care. If you need to see him that day his staff is always able to find time in his very busy schedule. I always marvel how you feel welcome when you walk in. I am one of those people that are not too keen about going to the dentist, however Dr. B has saved more of teeth than he has "yanked". My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Brodsky for about 7 years. We found him when we moved to Baltimore and found that our insurance was not accepted by any DDS here. Dr. Brodsky's office in East Brunswick, NJ did accept our insurance, When we sought treatment and then implants, he took excellent care of us over a period of years. Our oral surgeon did the implants, and Dr. Brodsky took care of the crowns. He made sure that we both had good looking crowns and had good "bites". His office is a 2 hour 15 minute ride each way, but for us it has proven to be worthwhile in many respects. Kudos to the staff as well, especially Claire and Naomi. read more

I can't thank Dr Brodsky enough for all he and his staff, especially Claire, did for me this week to address the terrible toothache I had. He took me in as quickly as possible when I called. I needed a root canal and then permanent crown and I was going on vacation in 3 weeks time! He was able to squeeze me in for the appointments right away to get the treatment done. Dr Brodsky is the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He has a great staff and his hygienist is wonderful. She is very gentle and causes very little if any pain during cleanings. He charges a very fair rate for cleanings at $85.00 and does not push x-rays like some other dentists I have used. He has more than once discounted a service to me because I do not have insurance and he was trying to lighten the load. The best part for me is I have never been in the waiting room more than 10 minutes. Usually, I am in a chair within 5. Please do not give this psychopath Ron's review any merit. Dr Brodsky has been my dentist for about 5 years now. He is wonderful. He works with your insurance to make sure you maximize your benefits without going over. If there is a dental emergency he will fit you in somehow. About a month ago I was going on a 10 day trip and had an excruciating tooth ache.I was ready to cancel my trip...that is how bad it was He moved people around and saved the day! .I can not thank Dr Brodsky enough! read more

Dr. Brodsky has been our dentist for over 10 years. I have always found him and his staff to be very friendly, caring and accommodating. He has on several occasions called us after having a procedure just to make sure everything is ok. I especially like the hygienist, Oogla! She is so gentle you barely feel anything and I have extremely sensitive teeth.I had a nightmare experience with a different dentist years ago which caused me SEVERE anxiety and to top it off I am resistant to getting numb by novacaine. Dr. Brodsky tried several different techniques until we found one that works for me and now I don't have to be terrified when I need work done because I know he will make sure I don't feel pain. Are you Kidding me with these outstanding reviews? Dr Brodsky is the most incompetent, unprofessional, dentist I ever went to. Unfortunately, my dentist decided to extend the 4th of July week-end to include Monday being closed. As luck would have it I woke up on Sunday with terrible pain in my front tooth. Since my dentist wasn't available I called Dr Brodsky's office and was able to make an appointment for 10:15 Monday morning. No oral examination, just ex-rays and his determination was the tooth needed to be extracted! I took off my bib and told him even if it did need to be extracted I would go to an oral surgeon to have it done. Having many root canals I was sure that's what this was. I went to my dentist on Tuesday and he performed root canal and the tooth is fine. The number one priority of any Dentist should be to save the tooth. Dr. Brodsky thought he was going to take the easy way out! He has to be the most incompetent Dr. I ever met! Please, if you do have the misfortune of having to see Dr Brodsky, get another opinion. read more

I love Doctor Brodsky. I moved to Jersey City a little over a year ago and thought I could find another dentist that I could trust. Wrong. After seeing an ENDODONTIST in Jersey City, and paying so much more money out of pocket, the specialist still diagnosed the wrong tooth of which I needed a root canal. Thank goodness Dr Brodsky triple checked because I would have gotten a root a canal on the wrong tooth. Also, keep in mind, I've had a ton of dental work done. Apparently tooth decay is genetic and I have cavities in every molar. So whatever needs to be done, I trust that Doctor Brodsky will take care of it. I love that he never insists on work that doesn't need to be done. He actually cares about his patients. You will always pay more money to have a root canal done at a specialist but if you trust your dentist, there is no reason not to have them do the entire procedure. PLUS, you have to see a regular dentist to have the crown put on anyway. If you're trying to be smart about money, that's the way to go. He is a little rough sometimes but he knows what he's doing and always asks if Im okay. The only thing that kind of sucks is he sees multiple patients at a time, so if you book an appointment for a cavity or big procedure like a root canal, make sure you give yourself about 2 hours. OH, he's also there on Saturdays and works late on weekdays. So convenient. read more

First I'd like to say I had the pleasure to be put on to Dr. Brodsky by my wonderful Fiancé . Let me say it's a pleasure to have met him !!!! Not also is he just a amazing dentist to help me above and beyond with my teeth but he is polite , funny , and actually cared about my well being. I've had horrible experiences at other dentistry places and this is by far is the greatest experience I've had. No pain at all which he always made sure I was ok. Dr. Brodsky has been our family dentist for over 20 years. He is patient, kind, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He is very accommodating! I have had several emergencies and have called his office and he would tell me to come in immediately. Not only is Dr. Brodsky a fabulous dentist, his staff is outstanding. Everyone working in this office cannot be more helpful. My hygienist, Oogla is the best. She is kind, gentle and does a thorough job of cleaning my sensitive teeth. Dr. Brodsky and the hygienist were very nice and gentle on my teeth. The office was in tip top shape. I actually made an appointment with him after the place I'd gone once before couldn't see me for three months--I was able to schedule something with Dr. Brodsky two weeks from the date I called. They also have evening and Saturday appointments! In terms of price, I do not have dental insurance, and the price was extremely reasonable, especially considering I had to have x-rays done. They do have a sink into which you spit instead of squirting the water and sucking everything up with the little vacuum hose thing--I've heard the sink is less sanitary, though I don't have any scientific sources for that information. Also, Dr. Brodsky did the exam very quickly, which was okay since I've never had any problems with my teeth, but it'd be nice to be more confident that he was absolutely thorough. All in all, it was a very good experience. read more
