Great photographs are only half my job. The other half is making sure you actually enjoy having me around. After thousands of photo shoots, I've learned people rarely remember the camera—they remember how the photographer made them feel. That's the part I'm most proud of. I photograph weddings, corporate events, sports, portraits and just about anything involving people. My approach is pretty simple: make people comfortable, keep things relaxed, give direction when it's needed, disappear into the background when it isn't, and always keep watching for the photographs nobody knew they wanted. After more than 35 years, I've photographed everything from intimate weddings and family portraits to professional sports, major corporate events and some pretty incredible people and places. I'm proud of that résumé. It tells you what I've photographed, but my reputation tells you how people felt being photographed by me. Between the two, I'll take the reputation.
History
Established in 1987.
Brody Hall Photography got its start in Santa Rosa, California, photographing kids with Santa at the local mall. What started with Santa photos grew into weddings, portraits, sports, corporate events and just about everything in between. More than 35 years later, the cameras and assignments have changed quite a bit—but I still love taking pictures just as much as I did when I started.
Meet the Business Owner: Brody H.
I'm Brody, a professional photographer, U.S. Army veteran, proud camera nerd, and somebody who still gets ridiculously excited about taking pictures after all these years. I've photographed royalty, politicians, celebrities, professional athletes, families, couples, models and executives, and I've loved the variety of people this job has allowed me to meet. What I love most is getting to know the people I'm photographing, making someone who's nervous in front of a camera relax and laugh, and creating photographs they'll remember.
