I discovered that such person when I met Heather at the Baptist Baby Fair a few years ago. I was blown away by the sample photographs she brought to display. Not only did Heather have her work to show off, but she has a relate-able personality and a calm presence about her. I had no idea how much that would matter until I was a crazed new mom with a one week old infant who fretted over EVERYTHING. Okay, so about 20 months later, I am still the nervous wreck of a mother, slightly relaxed...just a touch. But now, 20 months later, I have a beautiful collection of photographic art proudly displayed on just about every wall within my house. Heather is super easy to work with and you can tell that she loves being a photographer. She does it with such ease. When you have an 8 month old or more recently the 19 month old who absolutely doesn't want to have their picture taken, Heather doesn't bat an eye. She is so good with children, and the mommies too. I was finally able to schedule it and take the class from Taylor herself this past March. Not only did she teach me how to use the equipment I already owned more efficiently, but she opened my eyes to so much more as far as the type and style of photos I like to take. Yes, this was a beginner's class, but now I have more of an overall understanding. I had been doing so many wrong things for so long. She is so down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I loved the way she explained everything in layman's terms in addition to having a great guide book she provided. She even offered help on choosing other equipment and gave me an example of what a photography release should look like. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to learn from her sooner. I hope to take her full mentorship class soon to learn more about editing and business. I would highly recommend taking a class from her as well as booking for photography needs.

I literally just shared our entire wedding album with my family and friends because everyone deserves to be touched by the joy Carrie and Ganer captured on our big day!
