The weather did not co-operate with him or his crew at all. There were so many rain delays, but through the entire process, he was patient and kind, and he and his crew continued to work away when the weather would allow it. Watching the welding crew put the frame together was a wonderful experience. Metal footings are installed in the concrete when the foundation is poured. Then they weld the entire frame structure to those solid footings encased in concrete. That building is not going anywhere! He built us one fantastic workshop. I happened to go by and look at a piece of property that Rut had just completed a game fence on. It looked like it was done well by people who knew what they were doing. I called and talked to Chad, who came by to give me an estimate and explain the process. While I was waiting for the scheduled the day the fence was to be installed, I went by a local business who they just did a chain link fence for. It looked really well done. One day before, Chad called to confirm everything and the next day the fence was installed. I am very happy with the job they did. I know chain link isn't easy to get perfect, but they did an awesome job. They even put a wire at the bottom to make sure the fence has good rigidity. In my case they built a custom gate for me too, which also turned out great. I found the price of everything to be very reasonable and there were no hidden costs. The work was completed for the originally estimated price. I will be using them for whatever I need in the future.

6 Years ago, they put up our paddock fence for our horses. It took them several attempts before…read morethey came out. But, we got the paddock fence up. At a higher price than originally stated. I needed the fence up, so I accepted it. They came highly recommended. We called to get them to come out to do the Pasture fence later and the fee they were asking was insanely high--and they never returned our calls, it took several attempts. So, we went with someone else who charged us less than it cost us to put in the paddock fencing. (Sadly some of the equipment we had out in the pasture right before the fencing went up for the was stolen! and we had to pay for that equipment, but it still didn't come out as close to what Rut was estimating or what we paid for the paddock. Unfortunately, that person who put up the pasture fence moved to another state and so we can't get him to do this current job). Early last week (Monday), we called to have Rut Fencing come out to fix a small part of our fence that the got torn up by one of our horses. We were told someone would be out on Wednesday (2 days later). I stayed home ALL DAY waiting. Not even a phone call to say they weren't able to make it. My husband called them back the next day and they said they were at a job that took longer than expected. They would come out early this week. Never even got so much as a phone call. I called again this morning to see when we could get them to come out as we need this fence fixed. The person who answered the phone said he would see when they could come out as they were at another job. He said he was going to call the workers and see how far along they were and would call me right back. I asked for an estimated time and he said, he would call them and call me right back. I realized I was not going to get a call back. I never got a call "right back." You know that feeling you get when you're being lied to? Do they do a good job? Well, the paddock fence was a great job. They did excellent work. But, they don't call you back and will just leave you hanging in the wind. I can't have my horses getting out or strung up so, I called another company out of Lampasas. They came out within 20 minutes to assess the work and said they would be back later in the afternoon to get the job done. They are here now getting the job done!
