Overall I was very impressed…read more First, the overall professionalism was phenomenal, showed up on time, communicated with me the whole time, and gave a quote immediately. I was hoping I could get a little break to have multiple trees cut down (had several that were diseased, and pointing towards unsafe landings), and I was delighted to figure out that I could have all the trees done at the same time for a better price. We weren't sure if it was going to rain on the scheduled day, and again, communicated with me the whole time. Then showed up on time as promised, with staff that was all wearing brightly colored t-shirts for safety. The job was done all in one morning (several trees cut down, and several needed some maintenance). The crew left my property as tidy as possible, and didn't interrupt me one bit (I work from home). At the end when they were all done, I had wanted some additional branches trimmed, and they had no problem hopping back on their equipment to get the tree trimmed. Nothing was damaged, none of the wires were hit, and I officially have a new tree servicing company to call for all my needs. Only a couple minor comments, neither worth taking away a star. I had wanted to save some money, so planned on burning my own trees/branches, but the two tree piles left for me where a bit larger than what I wanted to set on fire. I'm just not that brave with fire, so I had to do some work on my own to make the piles smaller, but I think if I had seen the piles before they left and said something, they would have made more smaller piles, but I didn't realize the size of the piles and didn't say anything. So I take full responsibility for that. The other issue is that I am allergic to perfumes, and the person who gave the quote and came back to manage the work wore just a little too much. We were outside and it was too strong. I probably came off rude keeping my distance, but most people don't realize how their perfumes smell to others, and even less people are aware that people have allergies to such. Again, I said nothing (because in my experience, people don't generally respond well to being told their perfume is offensive), but I'm sure if I had asked for them to not wear so much perfume they would have respected my wishes. Thus, no stars taken away. Definitely recommend these folks. Professional, and affordable.

Before the job, I told him clearly: deal with me, not my mother, because she gets confused. He agreed. I signed the proposal. When his crew showed up on March 31st, I wasn't there. Mike upsold my mother -- a woman with significant memory impairments on a fixed income -- on an additional $1,500 of unauthorized work, then demanded full payment for everything. If you have an elderly or vulnerable loved one, please think twice before calling this company.

i'm extremely picky about my landscaping and trees…read more I was really pleased Top Cut Tree Service did such a beautiful job at my home. I was impressed with their attention to detail. The trimmer crew was very professional - they had hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, boots, and all the right safety equipment - you would have thought I hired the Forestry service - which is what they could be but us regular ol' homeowners get to hire them! The best part was they didn't hurt any of my delicate plants below and they cleaned up meticulously. My tree canopies have never looked this nice. The owner Mike gave me a free estimate and the crew went far above and beyond what I expected. I need more great experiences like this especially when it comes to my yard!
