My husband and I started attending Calvary Heritage in Fall of 2015. We felt the holy spirit once…read morewe walked into the building! Pastor Rich and his wife Kristi made us feel very welcomed, and still do to this day. Our church family is awesome, we could not ask for more! The treat during the summer months is our weekly "Reading in the Psalms" right on the beach, with a BBQ. It is such a great way to unwind on a Thursday night with the ocean crashing and great worship with reading in the Bible. I love the fact this church has youth groups for children of all ages, Men's breakfast the first Saturday of the month, Women's group, and home fellowship during the week. We are truly blessed to be a part of the body of Calvary Heritage and so will you!! We hope to see you there Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM or Thursday nights at 6:00 PM. I was so impressed with the lunch they give out on a regular basis I had to give them praise. Rob is the cook today and he went all out, like he does every time. Today's menu was homemade pizza, homemade crust and organic/local grown veggies. The 2 flavors were Italiano and taco. They served with a good looking side salad. The pizza they were giving out here was definitely better than any pizza sold in this area. I respect the love and effort put into feeding others. There is no person that is superior to another and I am so happy to see this church feeding people with the same quality and care all people should be afforded. Donations are accepted and yes we will be donating to this amazing organization.

This is the best church in Brookings. It is the only church…read morethat I know of that has helped all of the people who walk into this church, homeless and all no matter their color, vaccination status, race or circumstances for need of shelter, food, showers and clothes. Rev. Bernie is the best of the best in Brookings.
