He request more money to help pay his workers, which I did as he was doing a good job. He then requested more money for the extra stone he had to purchase. By the time I realized it I had given him almost all of the money. His tarp broke my basement window which he said he would fix at his expense, that was never done. Continual calling to get the job done he never completed the job and took the money. Do not trust this guy Marc Roy (Lindsay) Ontario to do any stone work for you. Left my place with a broken windows junk scattered all around my yard, stonework halfway done and money gone!! I had to hire a new brick layer to complete the task and pay to have the trash removed from my property. Not a trust worthy person, he was doing a good job all he had to do was complete the work started.. DO NOT TRUST!!!!

I was a repeat customer. I always paid COD / EMT. Derek demanded a Credit Card hold after delivery…read morewas booked and confirmed. Truck showed up 4 hrs late. Delivery was paid in cash and 3 days later Derek says he will get around to processing a refund on the credit card WHICH WAS NEVER AUTHORIZED tomorrow. Absolute BS. CC company says it may take up to 5 days to process the refund. Not his problem. Derek is a super nice guy, he just does not understand other people have deadlines and financial factors. I never knew he put my credit card at its limit such that it now shuts down my build for 8 days!

By 9:15 when I spoke to him (after several phone calls and texts) he had obviously just woken up. Advised he would be there at 10:30!!! When I asked if HE was going to pay my labourers for sitting doing nothing, he advised me he was 'sorry it didn't work out'. Yeah right! No way to run a business and will NEVER use him again or recommend him.
