First impressions upon a walk-in: the store is clean, uncluttered and what is there looks just like the retail store. I really dislike outlets that go for the "Marshalls" effect by stuffing as much as possible on every inch of rack space. Luckily J Crew abstains to great effect. The clothing is racked and displayed such that you never feel closed in or that you need to go "bin surfing" to hope you can find a size or color. It's all quite attractive and welcoming- score one for the merchandising guys. On my handful of visits in, clothing options were always primarily "looking forward" to the next season. For example: shorts out in February and a distinct lack of sweaters or outerwear. Sure this means the total number of options will be more limited, but J Crew has always had a knack for focusing on quality rather than quantity and it's nice to see that in a factory store too. I also thought the deals were quite strong too. While the MSRP rivals normal retail or catalog prices, my weekend visit not only featured specific sales that were strong all by themselves, but the staff also handed out coupons for an additional 20% off. 50-60% off total? Yes, please! Staff will be helpful if asked, but otherwise remain pretty hands-off. That's okay with me. They will pull a size if you are in the dressing room, but other store traffic can overwhelm them at times. All I spoke with have been friendly here. In all, this store alone is a reason I will travel to this mall and it is always a must-stop. When passing through town, it's worth a stop in.

Props for having a "tight" store with a strong image but we ended up at the Adidas Store for some more classic looking sneaks and sportswear.... As I was posting this review I read an interesting article this morning regarding Under Armour losing popularity among young people. It also mentioned something about a new company policy (as of last year) that no longer allows employees to charge "strip club" visits to corporate accounts...hmmm. Not a bad Polo Factory Store…read more It's definitely one of the smaller Polo Factory Stores I've seen, perhaps the smallest. It has a simple layout. When you enter, to the left is the men's section, to the right is the women's section, and the middle (back) is the children's section. The center of the store is where the checkout registers are located, four registers to be exact. I've purchased some Classic Fit Polo shirts (interlock style) from this store. Most recently, I purchased a long sleeve t-shirt. The regular outlet price for this shirt is $24.99, but it was on sale for the holidays for $19.99. Not only that, but I received a coupon in the mail for an additional 20% off, so the shirt only cost me $15.99 plus tax. Score. You can save money by shopping for sales during the major holidays and by registering your email and snail mail addresses for coupons. This Polo Factory Store is never slammed and I like that. The employees are polite and efficient.

Service I found to be somewhat on the poor side. I was walking around and although acknowledged when walking in I was looking for my size in a few sweaters and there were two male employees just ignoring me folding clothing. I went up to one of them and asked if they had any other sizes and he mentioned the sizes out on the tables were what they had! Unfortunately for the style I was looking for they did not have the size! A really peeve when outlet shopping! However this is how outlet shopping is at times! Selection here was on the lower side of decent, nothing earth shattering. However the deals here were really nothing special. You need to come here when they have some smoking deals to take advantage. Polo is an American classic and has classic styling. A bit like Uncle Pete meets Henrietta at the yacht club style but it doesn't hurt to have one or two items in the closet!
