At the time of this review Eric the store Manager helped me out. Excellent guy. I work in the mall and my store/company is closing at the end of the year. I've been stressed and worried about finding work elsewhere. Compared to the quality of Brooks Brothers clothing, nothing I had came close. I called and made sure Eric was working, came on over and he was absolutely awesome at helping me out. I told him my needs and my lack of knowledge in the professional business apparel world. He made sure to point out specials/promos they had, gave me excellent advice and comparisons on selections, styles, colors. This was also my first time shopping at any Brooks Brothers. He was kind enough to stay a little past his scheduled time to finish the transaction and take care of me. I came in not confident, stressed, worried about looking good for the interview I had the next day. I left feeling confident and a lot less stressed knowing I had high quality and really good looking professional clothing. During the visit he had to help some other customers and gave them the same level of customer service. On a whim, I stopped by the Brooks Brother Outlet in Oshkosh, WI. I was greeted and advised by Store Manager, Virginia St. Clair. I had a very positive, low-pressure experience and was able to coordinate 2 suits and 4 dress shirts for business travel attire at a very reasonable price. I explained my fit, style preferences, and sizes and took note on Virginia's ability to translate into Brooks Brothers standards vs. traditional sizing. I also communicated what I already owned so as not to buy duplicates. Virginia provided not only logistical support on finding my sizes in-store but also provided value-add commentary on which pieces would blend well with pieces I already owned as well as suits I would buy. She supported me to walk out of the store with most merchandise in-hand and even gave me free shipping on colors/patterns not in stock at the location. Virginia was not only professional but also an enjoyable person to talk to during my 45 minutes in her store. Side note, during one of my trips to the fitting room, I noticed a commitment to excellence posted signed by all BB location employees. This was incredibly reassuring that Virginia was not just there to peddle suits that I would not enjoy. My first time in Brooks Brothers and the service by both sales associates. Shawn and Eric were extremely knowledgeable with menswear. I came in from Pardeeville, Wisconsin looking for a sports coat for a conference I needed to go to the following week in Kentucky. I started with Shawn in the process and not knowing what exactly I wanted, Shawn was helping me send photos of me trying on different coats to my daughters and wife on fb. It took longer than expected and Shawn's shift was over and he passed my sale onto Eric and he too helped me try on a few more coats and many more pictures to my loved ones. The ladies were too kind and said dad looked great in all but the wife had one in mind that stood out more than all the rest. After the decision was made Eric took an additional 10 minutes to prep my coat so it was ready to wear. Asking me if I wanted one or more of the pockets on the jacket to be kept sewn shut. I asked if he would open the top handkerchief pocket opened for future use. I had stopped by two other stores to find a sport coat prior to coming to Brooks Brothers. I was totally blown away by the service that I got and the fair price. I would recommend the store to all my friends and family. I was really impressed with the quality of the materials, he did a good job sizing me up, and the prices were good when I happened to be in.
