Each item is handcrafted and the purchases go towards helping women all over the world. It was so exciting to see a place like this in my hometown. The shop is run primarily by volunteers who are dedicated to empowering women. I was greeted warmly by a lovely woman offering chocolates & sharing the mission of the shop and all of the handcrafted items. There were so many beautiful items and gifts made from various countries and each item had a story to tell of a woman turning her challenges into her empowering experience. I highly recommend shopping here vs. the big box stores. Every dollar spent here goes towards lifting women up! I'll definitely be back to do some Christmas shopping

Unfortunately the salesperson, who happened to be a woman, looked for reasons not to take the sale rather than the aforementioned. I have never had a salesperson talk me out as a sale before. Having said that, the other salesman was will to work with me, but she talked us both out of it. Needless to say, I probably won't be recommending anyone to purchase a suit from this location.

I would have purchased the sale clothing items except for that one fact. The accessories and jewelry are very cute, but again cost prohibitive. And just rambling alot of times but that's no big deal. All of a sudden he started making up things like I couldn't keep the box the kitty treats came in even though I bought the whole box. So as he ran them up he threw the boxes in the garbage. The lady in back of me also was l8ke what the heck! Next day I came & talked to the manager she said she NEVER said that & knew immediately who I was talking about. Everytime I go in there he tries to pull something else claiming it comes from higher ups. Ya....the voices in his head perhaps!!! Tonight I wanted to buy a six pack of water they were the gallon size & in plastic wrap & of course he claimed he had to open & ring each separately to which I said "NO YOU DON'T there's an open pk over here I ran to get the single bottle & told him to ring it up it's. He started to tell me I was being rude to which said no I'm not I've shopped here for years & never had to deal with this unmitigated nonsense before. I'm 71 & I just don't have the time or patience for this crapola. These are just 2 examples. Yes I understand it's hard for them to keep help because of pay but I'm not going to put up with whatever mental or emotional disability this young man may have! The manager seems like a very nice lady & she obviously has her hands full I really don't wanna have to go back to her again. I always enjoyed going in there now I tend to dread it.
