Sadly, I have been disappointed every time I have visited the Waterloo store. The staff does little more than shout an impersonal "hello" when you walk in, and after that it seems like an imposition to ask them to find anything. And you have to ask them to help you, because the store is an absolute disaster. None of the men's shirts or pants are sorted by size, and what's marked on the shelves is often not what's actually there. I've come to realize that going to this store is a waste of my time because I have yet to walk away with anything I was actually going there to find. If folks are curious as to the reason brick and mortar stores are closing, this store is Exhibit A.

After standing in line by myself for 5 minutes a finally walked up to the register. The 2 cashiers told me they couldn't cash me out because they were helping another customer. There were no costumers around for at least 5 minutes. This was insane. I went back to the empty line and waited a bit longer while one cashier continued to scroll TikTok and the other played with her nails. I finally left my items on the counter and walked out of the store. Good luck to this business but I imagine it will be closed soon with this level of customer service.

The contents of the stores are the same as you'd find anywhere, but the atmosphere is unappealing and a little despondent. Out of all the Premium Outlets I've visited this one has probably been the most meh. The various store employees were mixed. There were some that were helpful, and other that sort of helped begrudgingly like they were doing you a favor. The upsides are that there is a lot of parking available, you're probably not going to have to deal with lines, and the stores all seemed well-stocked. The Shake Shack is not in the outlet mall, it's on the other side of the highway.
