There's always a wide variety of clothing and all is in good shape. I have found a good number of pieces I like at this store, from a whimsical Halloween sweater to staple dresses. Thrifty Shopper is one of the few thrift shops where they actually organize their books too. Being able to spot cookbooks vs fiction vs children's books at a glance is really great. It encourages me to genuinely sit and browse them to see if they have books I am seeking. Also at this time, if anyone wants Rachel Ray cookbooks there is half a shelf worth of them for grabs right now. I will say, if you like it grab it. This thrift store has a good amount of people traffic and turn over of items.

It's all women's clothing, housewares, Christmas, toys, and various other items. No men's clothing. I ended up with 2 American Eagle jeans, an American Eagle zip up hoodie, a sweater, and a toy for my god son for under $40! Staff was great. Super helpful. 2 fitting rooms that were very spacious. And although it was insanely busy for their opening, all the shoppers were kind and considerate.

However, the selection of clothes at MPC is quite limited. If you are a girl, they have some quality dresses buried within the racks and some nice accessories. However, when shopping for myself I am only ale to choose from grungy flannels, tweed sports coats, and unwearable polos. They have a selection of vintage t-shirts that I have picked from, but a lot are forgettable. I wish the store would expand its purchases. The store is worth it to check out, and I hope you find something to buy because it's great to see shops like this in Syracuse, but it just doesn't offer anything for me.

I am all for thrift stores, but I found this one to be expensive for some items from a thrift store POV. We happened to look at the baby clothes section, and some items were $10.99 or $12.99, granted they had tags on it... but then I realized I could go to Once Upon A Child in Syracuse and get similar items (with tags on and a much wider selection!) for much cheaper. There were some cheaper baby clothes options, so not everything was pricey-- but I wasn't impressed. It's also a small store so I feel like options as far as everything goes is minimal. I might stop in again and see if I have better luck a second time around. But there are other thrift stores I would consider before coming here.

Over 50% of the children's clothes that I looked at had the price portion of the tag ripped off and was marked up. $5 for a toddler size t-shirt, just because it's a specific brand, new would cost $7-8. I found a dress shirt for $4.99 and the cashier said it was a mistake should have been priced $12.99. Really? For a used shirt? Local sports team shirts all priced around $8, when they are $10 new at Walmart. Too much time on your hands to be digging through and repricing every single item. Ridiculous. Nothing "thrifty" about this store. It's a wannabe boutique.

Had always loved this store. Yesterday I had a lot of heavy things to donate. I'm a bit older, so…read morewas planning to use maybe one of their bins to make it easier, the door is really heavy. The girl comes to the door and says rudely to me that I need to bring everything inside and proceeds to shut the door. These things were heavy and once inside the store she said I had to lift them into a bin. This was very difficult, and hard for someone in their 70's. I was donating nice items from a downsize. She acted angry that I was donating. There were a lot of donations left outside, so I'm not sure why she picked me with all the heavy items to have to bring them inside. So, I guess, the moral of the story is donate where you can get some type of minor assistance or use a bin to bring it in all at one time. I made eight trips of heavy items, they didn't even seem to want.
