I knew when they had to keep coming back to "fix" what was wrong; large bubbles, two-tone colors, uneven texture and later hair line cracks down the middle, I had made a huge error. They offered to keep coming back, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, then offered insurance after I got three estimates. I was done with it all. My error was in paying the full amount. My brother visited from out of state during the summer and was appalled seeing the inferior job and did what he could to make improvements with limited time. It's obvious when someone knows what they're doing. Lesson learned. Hire reputable pros and get what you pay for.

They said they could send someone out to look at the issue and I agreed. Moore's never told me that they'd charge me to have the technician come out and what the rate would have been. It was $160 for the technician to IMOverify what I already knew in 20 minutes. When I pressed the owner about not telling me up front, he told me it's his practice not to mention service call charges and labor charges unless the client asks and that I should have expected to pay. That's bananas, imo. We agreed on $100, and I went with another contractor who told me everything upfront without games.,

He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He did full diagnostics, found what he felt was the primary problem, and took care of it quickly. He explained everything that looked great and things that could be a problem in the future, but didn't try to get me to address them immediately. Once after the inside unit caught fire. Over a year later it's been one problem after the next. I had to call another company and was told they've never seen such a botched job and they were floored. I called Brooks to complain and let them know of my disappointment and was told I have no common sense by the owner's wife. She got very ugly with me for the horrible job they did. I had a right to be upset, but they cared only about themselves rather than apologize for all the inconvenience and money and time I've spent trying to use a $7,000.00 unit that's been a nightmare. I reached out tto Atlas and Chris was able to come over that day! After thoroughly checking out the system he decided on a plan of action. The downside was that he suggested we turn off the A/C. The temp was around low 90s, so that wasn't the sort of news I was hoping for! Anyway, to my surprise he arrived back at our home at 9am the next day. It took him about 60 - 90 minutes to square away the problem. Afterwards, we were cooling our heels in comfort! Great job by Atlas!
