I thought John was something else. He turned out to be OK compared to I believe her name is Regenia. She is a liar and the DEVIL!! She is the cruelest person I know. She is rude and just not even Human acting at times. She even forgets that she works for the owners of these places that she is renting out and is lying to them. Never does repairs.. FOR GOD sakes anyone renting from them DO NOT Put money into anything. Call them and hound them for the repairs to be done. When they are not done look for a legal way to break your lease. I was so stupid to not do so. I just wanted to live in peace. I appreciate that lied and would not redo my daughters lease. She actually owns homes and rents them out herself. See if they would learn from her, she has had renters for over 25 years. She does a excellent job at renting out her properties. When her tenants need something, it is done right then. No questions asked. That is why she keeps the same people for years. She has always been able to pay her rent. John knew everything. So did the owner. It is ok. She always had another place to go. She just did not want to be 15 mins out of town. So take it from me. The heck with Wise Choice. She was not perfect. She always paid, she fixed what needed to be fixed and you never offered her a dime. She never said a word. I hope you enjoy messing people over. Especially a old Vet who fought for your freedom just to treat his daughter like dirt and not even listen to her. One thing for sure. She is a survivor. You could never do the things she has put up with and been through. I am proud of her.

I called Mr. Anderson and asked him if he would research a copy of my survey and if he could get me a copy I would gladly pay him for his research. When I went by his office to get my 3-page copy of my survey I offered to give him a check and asked what the charge was. He said he did not know but would have his office send me an invoice. On my way out of his office he said to let let him know if we couldn't find the survey posts and he would be glad to come out and help us find the posts. Two days later I received an invoice for $85 for his 3-page copy of my survey. I mailed him a check. A week later I called his office and ask to speak to Mr. Anderson. His receptionist asked what what it was in reference to and I told her that Mr. Anderson offered to come out and help me find the survey posts and I wanted to know what he would charge to do that. She said she would have him call me. I never received a call from Mr. Anderson but about 3 days later while I was leaving my house for a doctors appointment I noticed a survey crew out in my yard. When I got back from my Dr. appointment they were gone and a few days later I received a bill from Mr. Anderson for $335. I called his office to find out why I was never called with a price to find the survey posts and why they just sent out a crew to do a survey of my property without my permission. Mr. Anderson indicated that I told his receptionist I wanted my survey done to find my survey post. I never gave permission to have this work done. I called the receptionist to find out why she did not have Mr. Anderson call me with an estimate of the charge and she said she understood that I wanted the work done. She obviously misrepresented my request to Mr. Anderson. In- house communication with this company is terrible. I would have never agreed to have this work done if I had known he was going to charge me $335. I feel like I was ripped off. I don't know how Mr. Anderson can run his business by just going out and doing the work without a persons permission and then just go ahead and charge them. This is a terrible business to work with and their interoffice communication needs a lot of work. Yes, I paid the $335 fee because I did not want Mr. Anderson to place a lean against my property. I would advise anyone who does business with this company to get a contractual agreement with an estimate of the costs before any work is agreed to. Plain and simple I feel I got ripped off by this company. Now a week later after I sent the payment for work that I did not approve to do I receive another invoice indicating I was late and payment is due when it is received. I emailed the company and said I sent them a check last week. The receptionist emailed me back and said "Oh I sent you the wrong email just disregard what I sent you". Now the next day I get the check back in the mail because there was no one there to receive it. I emailed them back and said I sent the check to their physical address that was on the invoice. They emailed me back and said "oh send it to our PO BOX. I resent the returned check and now I am sure they have it. It is just this company has terrible communication issues between the receptionist and the owner.

I sent Ms. Mikell the required documents showing proof of cash. Ms. Mikell questioned if the purchase was going to be cash after receiving the proof of cash. She relied on the paralegal for the closing and she did not try to negotiate anything on our behalf. Keep in mind, I am a real estate investor and I have never been treated like crap by anyone the way she treated us. After closing, she sent a text for my brother to pickup the keys at the local funeral home from her mother or he could wait until she returned. Poor service. When I commented, she responded to my brother that "some folks are never happy". She was basically paid a commission for doing nothing but showing the property. I called her on numerous occasions but she would only respond by text or email. Unprofessional. UPDATE: On June 19, 2019 after posting this review, I was greeted with a couple of texts from none other than Ms. Denise Mikell. I called the agency and reported her behavior as well as requesting her to STOP ALL MEANS of COMMUNICATION. I guess it is a new age whereas you purchase a property with cash and you get harassed after making a honest review!! BEWARE this is the most UNPROFESSIONAL person I have ever had to deal with. I was ready to walkaway from this property but my brother wanted it badly for him and his kids.

    I have been renting with this company for almost 3 years. The communication is horrendous. If they…read moreanswer they are always rude. They claimed to send email reminders to renew for the 2024-2025 year and I never recieved any. They never called to ask if I was planning to. I didnt know the renewal deadline. When I called to ask, they told me they rented my unit already. Now, after springing that on me, they expect me to pay a FULL months rent for the 15 days of July I will be there. Never, with any other company have I had to pay a full months rent if the lease ended early in the month. It has always been a prorated rent for the days I was there. It is highway robbery!!! This company should be ashamed of their communication and borderline theft.

    The property I rented was nice (because it was almost new) but the company is horrible! The people…read moremoving out of the unit were terminating early, meaning they lost all $600 of their deposit ($300 of which is a 'cleaning fee') and Property Mart knew I was moving in on short notice. I asked if they could have the house cleaned by Friday (this was Tuesday) and they said it wouldn't be a problem. Not only was the unit not cleaned, several repairs, including a rip in the carpet, were not fixed because they did not bother to inspect the unit. I requested pest control to come due to the large amount of spiders, but after six months of never receiving more then 'we'll get back with you', I gave up. I also asked them to fix a broken cabinet hing in the kitchen, which they did four months later, but did so by coming in the house while I was asleep. When I moved out, they kept half of my deposit as ANOTHER cleaning fee, then only returned $170 of the remaining $300 due to the preexisting hole in the carpet, a dirty air filter (which I replaced when I moved in), and holes in the wall from hanging pictures (no part of the lease, which I read 3 times prior to moving out, stated I needed to patch the holes). When I tried to complain, they said I would have to appeal in writing after I received the actual deposit check and list of charges. What they didn't say was I would only have 60 days to do so, the majority of which was spent waiting for the check to be sent (though it was pre-dated to appear as if it was sent sooner, though the post mark proves otherwise) and then re-sent due to them losing my forwarding address. By the time they check finally arrived, they said it was too late to appeal.
