I also checked in on yelp and they gave me a free 4" plant for free. I decided to get a rosemary plant. I was pleasantly surprised with this nursery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is definitely a great place to shop for plants. It is definitely a smelly place though.

After two neighbors said they had purchased trees here, we thought we would give it a go when we were in the market for a new backyard tree. We are now 2 backyard trees, and about fifteen shrubs later and they are our go to spot for larger landscaping projects. They don't have annuals, pots or any garden art, but if you need trees, shrubs or perennials you can't beat them. Their team is very knowledgeable about all that is in their inventory and what works well with each other for a composed landscape. You truly can't beat the value when looking make some changes beyond annual color spots.

What really sets them apart is the care: bring in one of your overgrown plants and they'll happily prune, propagate, or even split it for you. They'll also help you track down special plants in larger sizes if you're on the hunt. I almost didn't stop here as I had already visited five nurseries this day (not to mention it was…read morepouring rain!), but how can you not check out a place called The Happy Bee?! I nearly slammed on my breaks and trotted on in. This is smaller than some of the other area nurseries as it is just one greenhouse open for shopping, but the greenhouse itself is large and filled with all sorts of good stuff! They seemed to have more annual flowers than anything else, but it was also early in the season for vegetables and I got the impression they would have more as things warmed up. Noteable finds for me were epazote and summer savory (two herbs I have sought near and far but to no avail until now!) along with many more herbs, a large variety of peppers and tomatoes, colorful stocks, strawberries, and many marigolds (including my favorite, strawberry blonde). Oh and they had the requisite hanging baskets found everywhere this time of year. Prices here were some of the cheapest I have seen, with many plants under $2. Employees were quick at checkout, and this was a nice alternative to some of the other, busier nurseries. It felt more open and easier to navigate.

Grew to be a beautiful tree and was envied by my Louisville neighbors. Recently got a gift certificate from Conifer Kingdom which was emailed to me and I lost. They worked with me to resolve it, and I received a beautiful maple (Sango Kaku; wife's pick) in a three gallon pot. Very healthy. Incredibly well packaged. Brother asked me what I wanted for my birthday. Sent him a link to CK and the Dancing Peacock Full Moon maple. :-)
