The worst I want to highlight is the absence of paper towel for wiping hands dry after using the bathroom. There is singing, crafts, and story time! There is a kid/toddler section so my kids always enjoy playing there! They have a smart table, toys, eye level books for the kids to pick out, game to rent! Its' very loud to where you'll get a headache from the SCREAMING, NON-STOP. The head librarian is horrible. No common sense. The other librarians are rude too. They allowed a guy in the library with bags of weed out on the table where he's destroying the computers by down loading malware gaming. They don't care. He said he was giving them weed, that's why whenever he came in, they'd run in back and bring out hand full of treats for him. He even vaped in library and they did nothing. His name is Jarrett, white guy with blonde hair and good friends of librarians Jen, Charlie (a woman Liberian) and a few others. He even held up bags of weed at the front desk with Jen THEY SHOULD BE FIRED! AND HE SHOULD BE ARRESTED. IF YOU SEE HIM, GO RIGHT NEXT DOOR AND TELL THE CONSTABLES. KIDS SHOULDN'T SEE OR SMELL WEED, ESTPECIALLY IN THE LIBRARY. PLUS, what's also gross is the librarians allow people to eat in the library. There's an Asian woman who comes in and will sit by other people and take out a bag of "CHOMPIE FOOD" its disgusting. she does it the whole time she's at the library. I am surprised how Texas is so backwards regarding provision of full facilities to its patrons…read more Since February the computers are down. 7 whole months of not having the basic amenity for school college university going students, researchers, for children for senior citizens etc. the catalogue is unapproachable!!! I have moved here from Missouri where such a concept would be taken as the utmost joke of the century. There the libraries are open 10 am to 9 pm 5 days a week and by the way they don't charge their citizens for driving on highways. Anyway I give 3 stars to the Eldridge branch because the fiction collection is so blah. Full sets of James Patterson, Joan Collins, Danielle Steele and not much of literary, classics, diverse, prize winning books. The great writers of classics are represented with only one novel each, of their not so popular ones.

I am so happy that one of my favorite places is back open. I was able to place some books on hold…read morefor pickup. They have a number you can call and someone brings the books out to you or you can go inside and pick them up from the hold section. I chose to go inside. I didnt know where I placed my library cards but the clerk was able to help me. She even renewed my cards and checked me out. There is also a drive up book return box in the front of the building now. Seems like they are open at full capacity now.

It was available at the Robinson Westchase Library, so I made the trip to pick up my book. The library is a treasure. Open and airy, it just invites you in to check out books. Lots of shared parking spaces. The librarian pulled my book to the front desk. Walk across the bridge to Camden Park. This urban park is so nice. Worth it to cross the bridge and have a walk or sit on a swing.
