Its' very loud to where you'll get a headache from the SCREAMING, NON-STOP. The head librarian is horrible. No common sense. The other librarians are rude too. They allowed a guy in the library with bags of weed out on the table where he's destroying the computers by down loading malware gaming. They don't care. He said he was giving them weed, that's why whenever he came in, they'd run in back and bring out hand full of treats for him. He even vaped in library and they did nothing. His name is Jarrett, white guy with blonde hair and good friends of librarians Jen, Charlie (a woman Liberian) and a few others. He even held up bags of weed at the front desk with Jen THEY SHOULD BE FIRED! AND HE SHOULD BE ARRESTED. IF YOU SEE HIM, GO RIGHT NEXT DOOR AND TELL THE CONSTABLES. KIDS SHOULDN'T SEE OR SMELL WEED, ESTPECIALLY IN THE LIBRARY. PLUS, what's also gross is the librarians allow people to eat in the library. There's an Asian woman who comes in and will sit by other people and take out a bag of "CHOMPIE FOOD" its disgusting. she does it the whole time she's at the library. I've NEVER been to a public library that allows weed to be smoked / sold and that allows people to CHOP ON FOOD FOR HOURS. NOT TO MENTION ALLOWING THE KIDS TO YELL AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS THE WHOLE TIME THEY'RE AT THE LIBRARY, WHILE THEIR MOTHERS ARE TEXTING AND DON'T CARE...THATS WHY THEY BRING THEM TO THE LIBRARY. ANOTHER thing we that was very weird is back by where there are 4 computers for "teenagers" the books are all "Terror, killing, etc." is very, very weird and says a lot about the staff. The librarian "Charlie" didn't see anything strange about it. It wasn't during Halloween, it's every day. Really? Is that what you want for your kids? NO! The male director over all the libraries is not doing his job! he needs to fire the librarians at this library, everyone of them will lie, treat some guests mean, they lie, and do drugs according to Jarrett, who should be arrested as should the librarians who are doing drugs and allowing Jarrett to do drugs and to blow his weed smoke on other people at the library. One of the very first things we did after we moved to the area was to stop by and get a library…read morecard. We received nothing but excellent service while here. The lady who helped us with our card was very kind to explain all libraries we have access to, including Harris County Libraries as well as digital access through Libby and Overdrive. Like other libraries, you can access your account online and from there select titles to pickup at the library. If they don't have it available, they transfer between libraries and send an email when your materials are ready to be picked up. They also self renew. The library has a large variety of books to choose from. I did, however, found their Children's selection to be a bit small. They have movies and plenty of audio books. I'm still not familiar with everything else that they offer, but I did find a calendar on their website with listed summer activities for kids and adults as well. A suggestion for them would be to try and add those events into their Facebook page events. It seems their Facebook page is not very active. Other than that, very pleased with this location.

The Kevin Brady Library is a huge, beautiful library that's very welcoming from the moment we…read morearrived. The exterior is inviting, and the entrane gives so much information about the founder and namesake Kevin Brady, and some interesting local history. There's even a fun presidential photo opportunity that we took advantage of I found the library very easy to navigate thanks to its open, wraparound floor plan. If you need help finding something/somewhere there are maps that in the front of the library (lobby area) that clearly show where everything is located. The children's area is incredible, with a massive interactive play space that kept kids entertained. We especially loved the cozy reading nooks, which are perfect for sitting down and reading a book together. I also loved that they had separate and closed off study rooms, so cool. One thoughtful feature I really appreciated was the separate restrooms for children and adults, making the space even more family friendly. Overall, it's a wonderful library with something for everyone, and we'll definitely be back!

The new building will have new decor but the size will be a little smaller. And for some reason the new county library will have a retired politician's name on it. I actually needed a quiet place to study that was away from my home because my husband works from home so I picked this place. When you get to the gate, you have to call them and then they confirm that it's you they let you in and then there's a designated parking area which has a lot of spaces. They also check your ID once you walk into the library and then give you a sticker. After that you are good to go and study wherever you want. I even walked around the grounds for a little bit on my way out. It looks very English countryside, even though I've never been to the English countryside. I think this is what it would look like. Library is beautiful and clean and temperature is perfect. Everyone working there is extremely friendly and it's such a beautiful place.

I agree with the other reviewer that's that they feel sorry for the librarians who work here because they really don't have a library that they can call home. They are such sweet women and although they don't have a huge selection of books, because of limited space, they are able to request and hold books for you at this location. It is a great place to stop by and also go to the garden. They have sheets that have pokemon scavenger hunts along the garden and other fun things that you can do. I really enjoy it. I just wish they had a larger location and weren't crammed into such a small space. I will continue to visit and support our local library, but I wish it was on par with the other libraries in Spring/ The Woodlands/ Houston.

Really wanted to enjoy this library because they're so close…read more The ladies do a good job monitoring the front door - it's so close to the exit and can be a safety hazard. Unfortunately, the staff is not very welcoming or helpful. A neighbor told me they have been there forever and in turn are somewhat territorial. I interpreted it as entitled in their positions, but it was hard to watch people standing around waiting as the staff seemed upset when they were asked to help. It was good in that many were in there applying for jobs, etc. I just wish the staff was more welcoming to us. The lady in charge of story time was very nice, though. I wish the stories contained substance since it's supposed to be a teaching time.
