Bought my fencing through Home Depot and they were contracted by Home Depot to complete the install. This was almost 2 years ago. Since then, I have had several issues due to the install: Poorly installed posts which hold panels, bad gate connection to their own posts. Several panels would get blown down by slightest wind because posts were not secured to ground. Whether this is because not buried properly, no concrete, I couldn't tell you. The problem I had is they didn't tell me and they threw the pieces out into the water.. when the lake was drawn down over the winter I found the parts laying out in the water.. I had a good final walk through with Chris. He seemed genuinely concerned about doing a good and thorough job. NEGATIVE: Someone did NOT ORDER ENOUGH FENCE SECTIONS so the work took 10 days instead of the ususal 1-2 days. Also, the COMMUNICATION from the GENERAL MANAGER was POOR throughtout the project. These guys suck massive eggplant. Went with these guys thinking they were the premier fence company in the area. Boy, was I wrong. From the start to finish, the entire process was a joke. The sales agent that showed up was disinterested and seemed inconvienced by simply walking around my small back yard. He yawned several times and cut me off mid sentence at least twice. They had no formal quote sheet and simply handed me a dirty piece of scrap paper with a number. This was my last quote and it was at least 30% higher than the other quotes I received. I hesitantly went with them simply for the financing through Home Depot. It took 5 weeks to get the fence and when it did finally get installed it was a mess. The crew left trash and food in my yard that blew all over the place. The quality of the fence is terrible. Nails sticking out, bad cuts, and gates that don't work. When I asked the crew to fix the gate, they simply waited for me to walk inside and left. I called the main line and was promised repairs and they never came. I just get a VM now. Brookview was very responsive when I needed them to come give a quote, and responsive when they were going to come out and install the fence. They did a decent job, there was some areas where they just dumped the leftover cement next to the fence posts. The fence is only maybe 2-3 months old and the double gate has started to sag and rub in the middle. It does not close without extra effort. I also noticed some of the butt hinges on the gate are missing screws as well. I've emailed Matt and he said he would get in touch with the owner, but they have not returned my 4 emails, nor my voicemails to their direct phone number. I just simply want the double gate to close properly. If it's a problem at 3 months old, I can imagine what it will be like in a couple years. I would run as fast as possible from this company. We signed a contract in November, 2022 and were told the work would be done in about 2 weeks. Over a month later it was not even started and all communications stopped. Finally they came while we were on vacation and not able to monitor the work. When we got back home we saw several problems. The manager, Chris, assured us they would be taken care of. That was December, 2022. It is now May, 2023 and we have been told there will be an extra charge for fixing the final problem. When I pointed out we had a contract we were told it was the salesman's problem and he was no longer with them, but they would not honor the contract. We have been promised over and over again that a post they put in the wrong position would be fixed and our existing gate would be attached, but they are empty promises. Each time it is "we will be there by the end of the week". The last promise was a month ago. The fence itself is OK but many of the pickets are not spaced correctly and they only used one nail centered on each picket to hold it in which will allow warping. Now we are facing the task of adding nails (or better yet screws) on over 450 feet of picket fence. They didn't fill dirt in around the posts, leaving piles of dirt and clay and even cement in the yard. So, in conclusion, they do mediocre work at best and lie and break every promise they give you. This is without a doubt the worst company we have ever worked with. Unless you have endless patience and want to finish the job yourself, find someone else to install your fence. read more

After speaking with Blake Bowden, we hired Brookview Fencing to put up a vinyl fence on one side of the property and a black aluminum fence along the back of our property which opened up to beautiful woods that we didn't want obscured. when they arrived, "they" (a subcontracted company, not brookview) realized they had the wrong material, packed up and left. Blake called to tell us what happened and that the material would take an additional week to come in. When the materials finally came in, 2 men from the subcontracted company arrived to install the fence. They finished before days end and the overall appearance was pleasing with the exception of a few minor issues, we were happy . But upon further inspection, my husband noticed they were over a foot in from the property line on one side of the yard. We called Brookview Fencing several times, thinking they weren't going to return our call but to our surprise Blake returned the call. We explained the problem and since it was late on a Friday, he said he would come by on Monday to check out our complaint. To our dismay, Blake never showed up on Monday or Tuesday, or Wednesday etc... so the moral of this story, double and triple check before you pay the balance, because once you do. you won't hear from them ever again. We love our new fence! Brookview was very easy to work with considering we had an HOA that we had to get approval from first. We were clear from the beginning that we weren't sure how long the approval process would take, but Blake was very understanding and helpful - I never had to wait more than a day to hear back from him. He came out to our property to help us walk the prospective fence-line and draw up the plans to submit to our HOA. Once work began, the crew worked diligently and quickly. We liked the sales rep Matt and trusted him. So we had a 9k dog fence put in, one that would keep our dogs safe. He measured our smallest pup and we paid for them to continue while we went back to Ohio to take care of my mom. When we got back the fence was installed and looked nice, however it was not dog safe. Two of our pups we found wandering around front after just having let them out! We called and complained and was told it would be no problem to put up mesh to make it an actual fence that works with our dogs and their safety. That was in March and now our phone calls are not returned. Our only email was from when we were going to put in a front fence. We purchased a fence through Home Depot which uses Brookview as their installers so I didn't check their reviews since HD is great. Well everything every negative review said also happened to us. Total lack of communication no return phone calls. Within a week our fence was being held together by bungee cords since the latch on the gate broke. Our yard was left littered with cigarette butts and soda bottles left behind. We were not here when it was installed since it was done later than promised and we had a scheduled trip that could not be postponed so we were left with the clean up. As of this writing we were waiting on a Regional Manager to show up, he called said he went to the wrong address but was on his way. It is a 25 min max drive from where he was to here. An hour later when I called to ask where he was he said HD told him to reschedule. Now it will be another couple of weeks with a fence being held together with bungee cord. However, 6-12 months later, the fence began to lean drastically, the posts came loose from the concrete footings, and boards began to pop loose. Brookview Fencing installed my wooden Charleston (front) & 5-foot vinyl black fence on a hilly residential property in July 2019. Andrew and his team were great and it was a really hard job where they had to take the design to engineering on a ridiculously hilly lot. Andrew even came out on his own time to prepare over the weekend and I know the work took more time than thought because there were very steep areas that are deceiving in design. Everyone complements me on my fence and I tell them "Brookview Fencing out of Greenville"--two thumbs up. About a month ago, the double gates stopped shutting well; it looked lie the brackets had slid down. Chris in sales said someone might have run into it. Impossible I said. Expecting a battle because it was under and closing on warranty period, Chris assured me that Andrew would come out and look at it. Sure enough, Andrew was able to squeeze me in. He could not have been nicer, as he was a year ago, and immediately saw the problem and spent about 20-30 minutes tightening, adjusting, putting in extra screws and ta-da the gates where back to normal. I said "well the earth really hasnt shifted that much what caused this" and he said "well someone might have nudged it"--even though not many cars are in my alley, I trusted his observation without a doubt and felt very bad. I just have had contractors vanish on this 100-year old remodel. Not Brookview. I just wish they did more than fences. I recommend them without hesitancy. Our fence was started on a Monday during the first bad heat wave. I will give them credit for working through the humidity and heat. What should have taken a day and a half took three days but understandable with the weather. With that said, Our fence was to be right on the property line and all sprinklers were clearly marked. A corner post was put inside the sprinkler line (so our sprinkler now waters the neighbors yard) and when using the auger the sprinkler head was destroyed. We have spoken to a gentleman named Tucker who basically tells us "I don't own the sprinkler company and can not control them". Very poor customer service. Sad part is we paid in full as they were recommended by two neighbors who had zero issues and the whole think could have been avoided if the installer (Wes) had rung our bell to tell us his "plan" didn't match the yard exactly and we could have figured it out read more

Half a year later, my neighbor start building their house next to mine and I notice that my fence went to over to their property line. I emailed the fence company right after I realized that it went over and they didn't reply so I kept emailing them but they still didn't reply. And then I called them and they said they would take a look at the fence the next day or the next week but they never showed up. I have camaras around my house to check if they showed up and they never did. Every three day I would call them again and they kept saying the same thing that they would come the next day or next week and they would never show up. They didn't call me to say that they couldn't come, they just stay silent. They promised me they would take a look but they broked the promise. This company does not care about their customer and broke their contract. In the contract they said they would fix the fence within 1 year and it has been half of a year since they built the fence which mean that they should have come to fix it.
