My tour group ended up at a large table with a ton of chairs digging into our meat pies. I shared a beef one with another person on my tour and let me tell you... The beef meat pies prepared by The Pie Tin are AMAZING! The crust was flaky and seemed buttery, and the beef innards were tender and well seasoned. I inhaled it so quickly I didn't take a pic. Pies are DE-LI-CIOUS. Fillings are generous, flavour cant be beat (we tried many many many pies during the two weeks), and price is right (usually under $7). They even offered a limited Guinness infused pie for St Paddys day, and that was a highlight. Aside from their pies, which we tried many varieties of, their sausage and spinach/cheese rolls are excellent as well. This is a great deal. You have to try them... they are not your Coles $5 for 30 rolls but gourmet lamb/beef/pork rolls which are superb. Their pies... oh mh.. their pies are sooo good! It was a short drive away for such great service, food, and coffee. It's in a very industrial part of town so the views aren't great and the parking is a nightmare, but the place itself is fantastic. It's situated on a street corner with giant windows on either side and plenty of room inside. I had the Beef, Beer, Bacon, Potato pie, and a latte. The coffee was good, the pie was incredible, and the staff were all very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Almost couldn't have asked for a better airport waiting experience :)

Not only are they artists when it comes to baked goods but they are the best pie store in the Sutherland Shire. A hidden gem that deserves a lot more attention.

Pork and fennel sausage was also warmed up and you will be asked if you would like to have tomato sauce or BBQ sauce. We had it with BBQ sauce. It was delicious and pretty filling. Chickpeas, eggplant, feta and mint roll $5 Bacon, leek, and gruyere quiche $5 Their eggplant roll was one of the favorite tastes of the trip for one of my travel companions. Several of our folk also had the coffee here and enjoyed it.
