Went to get my eye brows threaded last Thursday and I typically use Asmita but she was off so I used someone else. The girl was fine but afterwards she gives me information about rodan and fields. I never asked for information about skin care and I don't appreciate someone making assumptions about my skin when I simply wanted my eye brows threaded. It was very unprofessional. I will only use Asmita from now on so I don't have to deal with people trying to shove pyramid schemes in my face. I do NOT support any type of MLM, especially when I'm at your business to receive services for something completely unrelated-- Again that was extremely unprofessional. read more

I came in on a Sunday after requesting a bikini wax by appointment. I was not helped or greeted. When I was finally taken into the room, the woman waxing me would not stop talking about how tired she was and how she did not have time to do my wax. For an already exposing experience I felt like a very unvalued customer, treated rudely, and disrespectfully. The woman proceeded to wax me, almost as if taking out her frustrations on my waxed area. She burned me in areas one should never feel such pain. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, and no concern. I expressed how awful the job was done, and had no choice but to leave feeling the pain I was in. I'm writing this review to warn you about the lack of customer service, care, technique, and regard for customers at this SOI. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE but here! read more

My husband and I always get our eyebrows done at SOI. We usually go to the one in Grapevine but we were eating lunch over here in Flower Mound so we came here. They did a HORRIBLE JOB on our eyebrows and left so much little hair right above my eye. They were rude as well! I have a membership and they always let me and my husband both use it but not here. This was my first experience with threading ever. My sisters have done it, my stepmom, and few friends, and so I figured after years of waxing I should try this instead since it's better for your skin. I was looking for threading in Denton when I happened upon this place on Yelp. Even though this location just opened, the others like it have great reviews. I'm so happy I did this finally. My appt was at 10am, right when they opened. They got started right away and I was done with my full face threading in about 25 minutes. I kinda can't believe how long I put off threading compared to how long I've been waxing my face. This is SO much better! It doesn't hurt as bad, and the girl who helped me was so quick and really friendly. Go here and get a membership!!! I signed up immediately after my full face threading because I know I'll be back, and you get 20% off every return with a membership. Full hair free face for $24?? Yes please! After about two weeks out, I was disappointed with the result of my facial threading. It became apparent that the hairs weren't ripped from the root but torn at the base. As the hair grew back, it stuck straight out and all over which was more noticeable than the hair I had before that was longer and laid flat against my skin. It was a terrible wait for the hair to grow back to its normal length and not look like I had prepubescent peach fuzz all over my face. My cheeks were especially noticeably bad. Poor customer service. I wasn't even acknowledged when I walked in. I told the lady what I wanted, clean up my brows and leave them thick, NOT THIN. I was very specific with my brow needs and specifications, especially since I have a scar on one of them. I had not done my brows in 4 months as I am new to this area and was terrified to go somewhere and get my brows butchered. I came here based on reviews and am extremely disappointed not only in how my brows, or lack thereof, came out, but also is how rude they seemed. Not returning. The staff is sweet, friendly, quick and efficient - there's almost never a wait and they're down the street from my office, so I can easily drop by on my lunch and still have time to grab food on the way back. For the most part I like this place. I like the convinience of it being open until 8pm on most days. I like that it is clean and it keeps it's restroom very clean. Most of the girls are very good at what they do. They have a student discount, which is super awesome! All you have to do is show your student ID and your eligible for the discount. I love it here. I go every three weeks, like clockwork. The girls are all so good at shaping eyebrows, and the salon is very cozy and welcoming. I've never been disappointed going there. Came here once, we walked in and we had too wait for about 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that we were there, once we were helped I believe the threading was really good, I would only suggest for them to improve on their custome service. Was visiting Texas and saw this place. Figured I'd give it a try since I wouldn't have time to get my brows done back home before Christmas. I'm so glad I stopped in! The place has the cutest, most relaxing atmosphere and smells soooo good. They got me in instantly. She sat me down and did her thing. I was a little nervous to look at my brows because I'm usually really trepidations about trying a new place. I LOVED them! The only problem is I like what they did more than my place in Seattle so now I'll have to wait for my trips down to Texas to get a truly great looking brow. read more

Today was my first visit to SOI brow threading and I am completely pleased. Although I had called ahead and asked if I needed to schedule an appointment, I was told it was not necessary and to just walk in. I walked in today on a Saturday morning and I was immediately greeted and asked to sign in. After checking in, I am certain that I did not even wait five minutes before being served. I requested a full face threading for my service and although I do not know the name of the girl who worked on me, she did an excellent job. I haven't had my face threaded in quite a while and although it can be a painful procedure, the young lady who worked on me did an excellent job moving quickly but was very meticulous. After arriving home and with closer inspection, it is even more apparent that she did an excellent job and I'm very happy. I feel like I just found my go-to place for face and brows. On a side note, there is beautiful jewelry and wraps/shawls for sale in the waiting area and the shop is very inviting with comfy chairs in the waiting area and the procedure chairs are very comfortable too. As much as I used to love coming here lately I've been really disappointed. Every time I come in there are a ton of people waiting with only two girls working. It would make sense if I came on weekdays but I come on weekends and they still only have 2 employees. I don't have an hour plus to just wait around for eyebrows, so I might be going to other places soon. I've left twice because the wait is so long and the lack of people working. read more

Awful experience!!! I am from india and very well understand that eyebrow threading to give a perfect shape that matches your face is an art... but at styles of india, all that lady did is to take off all hairs that fall out of your natural shape. while some may be happy to just get rid of extra hairs, but actually if you get it done by someone who can cater it to your face appeal, it can do wonders in your look. even though i made it vry clear at the beginning that I like thick eyebrows, she gave me awful results after she was done.. I have to say that after all the amazing reviews for eyebrow threading I was intrigued. My friend and I, had wanted henna for a long time so we decided to go in and try it out. Despite calling ahead and learning that there were set patterns with prices the ladies insisted that we choose our own off of the Internet. When she saw the patters she said "that will be $50 per hand" . We reluctantly agreed to get one full hand and one accent hand which was only an extra $10. During the process she didn't even follow the pattern, which is not a big deal. And switched henna tubes in between hands (the second was super watery and kept bleeding which she noticed and continued to only dab with a tissue). Next morning when I take of the henna paste one of my hands is a beautiful deep orangish red color, but the second hand only half took, was completely splotchy, and was a completely different color more of a cool tone brown. Paying $60 plus tip for the product I received is extremely disappointing and I will not be coming back or recommending styles of India for henna. read more
