Worst service [department] ever. I was quoted a service job and told I could wait for the bike. I was there from 10 AM to 5 PM. The bike sat in the entrance for 90 minutes. Every 90 minutes someone would move it closer to a service bay and send out a female employee to update me. EVERY customer that came after me was greeted personally by the mechanic who took care of them in 30 minutes. By 3:30 PM, his supervisor couldn't wait for the mechanic so he worked on my bike himself. After the work was done the mechanic wanted to chat with me but after 7 hours of waiting (and a mile long walk to get lunch) I was exhausted. I politely thanked him and told him I had to leave before the thunderstorm came in. The job was adequately done but Palmetto Motorsport never treated me as a person. Note: there are way too many broken and dusty bikes sitting in that shop. I wonder how long those bikes have been there. read more

do NOT RECOMEND the service shop from Palmetto Motorsports , my bike was there for 2 months for fuel sensor change, light switch change and oil change, after two months went to pick up the bike, oil change wasn't done,AFTER 2 MONTHS!! so this morning i went to put fuel and it just started pouring everywhere!!! i called Palmetto and the answer was ohhh yes yes.. i have the O ring here you can come an pick it up!! unbelievable!! its sad to see a great business like Palmetto motorsports getting killed by poor service.. when i mentioned this issue to my group most of the had a negative comment of the service department, "they damaged the tpms", "brake pad change and they didnt do it.. " does the owner fallow up on the service of his business?? SAD. BUT I must say! parts and accesories MARIO is the man!!! what a great guy!!! read more

Nightmarish since Torque and Don left. Device department selective as to who gets quality service. Not a trustworthy establishment for certain individuals. Even the corporate office corruptly took the sides of service department, who claimed the bike was fixed...yet broke down 3 times directly after....ON MY TOW TRUCK DIME. And the lack of quality service just kept on going. Eff these people. I was born and raised in Hialeah so whenever my motorcycle enthusiastic uncles needed parts they always dragged me here with them. It's a huge hub for all things moto in the Miami area. A few years back, I actually came here for some random part I needed and they helped me out in a jiffy. The cool part of the story is I was on the beach in Costa Rica last year and I was talking to some people that said they were from Miami. Two sentences later, I found out they were the owners. Do not buy a used motorcycle from them!!!! They don't appear to ensure they have a clear title before selling to another person. We purchased a motorcycle on May 15th and still have not received the tag or title. We've had to call them numerous times and never get a clear answer. On the call today we're told the title kept bouncing...what does that mean??? We are now contacting an auto fraud attorney to help resolve this matter. Horrible experience! We haven't ridden the motorcycle since the temp tag expired. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

Excellent service! I took my gsxr 750 in for service and a tire. The service manager was very helpful and knowledgeable! My bike went right in for service with no wait but they got pretty busy right after my bike went in. I had enough time to browse their gear and bikes in the showroom. I really wanted to write a good review. I saw a crf110 on cycletrader and decided to contact the seller which was Palmetto Motorsports. I was contacted by Eddie and he had said they had the bike in stock and it wasn't completed yet and that they can ship it to me in California where im located. The price i was told from him was agreed upon and i wanted to move forward with the price but before i could pay he called me and let me know there was a mistake and that the bike was $600 more than what i was told. I asked if they could speak with a manager to get some relief on this or if there was anything they could do and got nothing. Staff was very unprofessional always laughing when i called and very long hold times. Too bad i really wanted to buy the bike! read more

This is my new "go-to" motorcycle shop. I was looking at buying a new 2012 Ninja 650r and no other store around had it but when I called Palmetto and spoke to one of the sales guys, he told me they had one so I took off immediately and went all the way out to Palmetto Motorsports. The sales rep who helped me was friendly and let me take my time looking over the bike to make sure it was really the one that I wanted. He processed my paperwork and loan application pretty quickly and got my approval fast. The loan manager got the rest of my financing paperwork done quickly and we had a cool conversation. It made the process delightful. He even hooked me up with a pair of motorcycle gloves because I didn't have any. I came back the next day for the installation of my Lo-Jack and they took me first thing in the morning and when they were finished the mechanic hooked me up with a battery tender. Just purchased a new motorcycle from Broward motorsports. I called to see if they had a particular motorcycle in stock, I was talking to Carlos on the phone and he called me back and said they had what I wanted in stock in their warehouse. Long story short, we did most of the transaction over the phone and several days later I went with my wife to pick up the bike. Extremely nice and pleasurable experience. First starting with Carlos meeting him and he turned us over to Stephanie to continue the transaction. And finally Rick took care of the financial end. All three were very nice and professional and everything went smooth. Most importantly, my wife was a little apprehensive for me getting another motorcycle. I haven't had one for quite a few years and I've been wanting one for a while. They made her feel really comfortable and really made her feel at home with hospitality. Offering, coffee, donuts, bagels, etc. Definitely one of the nicest experiences I had with purchasing a vehicle of any type. Also, no problems with them trying to add additional fees that were not expected. No pressure trying to sell additional warranties or anything of the such which I normally do not like and get aggravated when I am pressured to do these things. read more

I tried a closer dealer looking for a piece for the carb, they didn't even know what it was, then I came to Palmetto, had the part 2 days later. Been back 3 times since then, and each time they either had, ordered or knew who had what I needed. My father traded in his Katana motorcycle, Christmas of 87, so that he could buy me a new 80 ATV. I was seven, and I had outgrown my suzuki 50 in both size and need for speed. I think that it was a year or two later that the Katana became a collectible. (Can I get a witness from all the other Daddy's little girls out there!?!) This place is as awesome now as it was then. I brought my 2006 KX250 in for service. I was having a problem with engine flooding and a mechanic, appropriately named "Torque", worked on my bike. I called around to different shops including Riva Motorsports and their service goon sounded less than trilled that I called with questions. See my yelp review for this place -- they're clowns who are more interested in their facebook feed than selling motorcycles! When I spoke with Torque at Palmetto Motorsports, he sounded genuinely interested in helping, took time to listen to my questions and answered them, and to me that means good service, good business acumen, and ultimately it fosters trust. Torque quickly diagnosed the problem with my carb and fixed it. It was ready in two weeks. When I picked up my bike, Torque wasn't there but a nice older gentleman took the time to show me my carb, the problem it hard, and why I needed a replacement. I have a hard time trusting mechanics and was leery of needing a new carb but I realized they were right. If trust is important to you this is your shop. The NEW oem replacement part they sold me was cheaper than what i found on ebay that was used. Their prices for riding gear is also competitive with what I found online too. Happy customer. Highly recommended. Hope I don't ever have to see them again but if i do, I know where to go. Thanks! read more

Loved my service experience at this shop. Paul the service manager walked me through some things to look out for on the 07 Gsxr 600. I bought the manufacturer oil change kit that comes with OEM oil filter and I also purchased some coolant. I came back with the oil change complete but needed help with the coolant flush. They took the bike right in and had the Suzuki mechanic (really cool dude for working on my bike as the last bike of the day.) take a look at getting it done for me. I forgot the other guy's name who was a service writer, he was very nice and welcoming. They were very thorough and checked my chain and tire pressure. I love the level of detail and customer service. I felt really welcomed and like a new home for me to go and take my bike in for service. I would recommend this location over any of the other motorcycle shops in the area. read more

These people are shady! Buyer Beware! I purchased a motor cycle in full, including tag&title.. After waiting 2 months for registration (bear in mind the temp registration is only for 30 days) I call to inquire about registration and was told I would have to pay an $17 before registration was relinquished. The sale rep never mentioned additional charges would be added, nor is the additional charges mention in none of the paperwork given. SO RETCHED! read more

You do have to be patient with some and if youre in a rush you need to let them know. They employees have all been there for years as well, so you must think the company is good to them also. I bought my KTM RC390 Cup from here, the sales person was great ! but one day after, the bike didn't start, so I toke it to the service and they told me that they have 2 weeks waiting time and after that will take another 2 weeks or more to fix it, they told me they are short stuffed on mechanics and it is a long time problem they have, Also they refuse to make any extra efforts to speed up the process.... So, I called RIVA Motorsports, in 1 day they service the bike and FIX the problem, If I knew that before hand I will bought my bike from RIVA. read more
