Kathy then told me that she takes the diamonds out herself before sending the gold in she buys and has no recollection of me being there and asked for my receipt. Although she has known me for 32 years apparently she is so desperate that she stole the diamonds she knew I was going to use as accent pieces for my engagement and wedding band. I continued to ask her with the receipts. She said since it wasn't written on the receipt she didn't owe me anything. The ironic part is that she used a post it for the handwritten note and attached it to the bag of jewelry, gave me no receipt, and just money. I took her word because after 32 years I didn't think she would do that to my family. I was wrong. The icing on the cake is when I found out she gave me 1/4 of the price of the gold. All because I trusted her on her "hometown honest word." That store makes me sick to my stomach and I wouldn't do business there unless you're looking to get ripped off big time. I even saw one of the pieces I sold to her in her case for sale and pointed it out when questioning her about the diamonds and she denied that could have been my piece as she didn't keep the jewelry to sell. Lies. Scams and lies!
