She said how about 3 or after 3, I said that's perfect. The plumber calls me Friday at 9:40am and said he is on the way to my house, I told him I was at work and my appointment was at 3pm. He said he understood and he would reach back out to me around 3pm. I told him if I was able to leave earlier I would give him a call. I took off work early so that I could be home before 3pm, I called him at 3pm to let him know I was there. He said ok, he would call me when he was on the way...I called him back at 4:45 and I asked him if he had an idea of the time he would be coming. He said he was snaking a pipe in Portsmouth and he would call me after to head my way. It's now 10:15pm...I took time off of work for nothing, he never called and he never showed up and my faucet has a constant drip. The office was respectful and kind, the plumber was kind on the phone...but it is so rude and disrespectful to just not show up or call back and let them know you are unable to be there. This was my second time "using their Services", they had just repaired a leak in my crawl space a couple weeks prior and those guys Were quick, kind, and efficient. I am beyond disappointed with This go round, I will not be calling them or using their services again. I will take my business and my money elsewhere.

Upon moving into my (new to me) older home, we learned about some of the bad things that people do with their flushing standards. This bit us in the rear when the entire system got clogged. This clogging created a backflow of stuff you don't want to see, to come back up.. into the showers, bathtubs, yeah... it was messy.. and ugly. I called around to find a plumber that would be willing to help me and at first I just left a message to call me back. Shortly after, Newman's quickly responded by returning my call. The lady was very friendly and responsive to my needs. She mentioned that they had availability sooner than other places AND they had an option for emergency service. The emergency service (after hours) was obviously going to cost more but honestly, I had literal fecal matter in all our tubs, etc. it was totally worth it to have someone come asap. The gentleman who came over definitely knew his stuff. Dave had been doing it for a long time. He was very quick to isolate the issue and get everything resolved. He was very concise with what he was doing and the path to get things clear. I'm very pleased with the service I got as I had a no BS - let's get you straight service and was able to get it when I wanted it (which was immediate). I purchased a house that was built in 1939 and discovered that the 3-prong outlets that had been installed were just replacements - the wiring had never been updated and they were not really grounded. Other outlets that I needed for appliances were still the 2-prong type; at the very least I needed get those switched out so that I could plug in my stove. I called Conyers based on the reviews here and pictures of their work on FB. They were out the next day; Henry was on time, thorough and efficient in his inspection of the panel and the outlets. Since NONE of the outlets were grounded, I decided to bite the bullet and have the house completely rewired; The price was competitive and Steve was readily available by phone (even outside of "typical" business hours) if I needed to speak with him. Henry was on site every day, overseeing the crew while they were working, and the entire team was very accommodating and respectful with regards to requests or questions I had. Bonus: They cleaned up after themselves! (Many of you may be thinking - "Well, yes, they're SUPPOSED to clean up after themselves..." but I had some recent dealings with other contractors whose idea of "cleaning up" was, at best, a joke. These guys REALLY cleaned up after themselves.) I am COMPLETELY satisfied with the work, have told everyone that I know about their company and work ethic and will definitely call them in the future for any electrical work that I need done.

1 -- Lost fastener, improper reassembly, higher power bills, and poor follow-through…read more I contracted Philbrick Inc. Heating & Cooling for routine cleaning and maintenance on a system I purchased from them for approximately $8,000, and for which I've paid hundreds more over the years for service. The technician who performed the service lost a manufacturer-specific fastener and reassembled the enclosure improperly. One corner of the cover was left with about a 1/2-inch gap, which allowed a significant amount of cooled air to escape into my attic throughout the hottest part of the summer, increasing my electric bill. I discovered the problem months later while replacing the filter. I called Philbrick the next day and requested they correct their mistake. It took approximately four days to get a technician on site. He confirmed a fastener was indeed missing and attempted to fabricate a substitute. Lacking the right part and skill for that task, he ended up taping the corner of the door--a stopgap that still leaked air. He said he would try to scavenge the correct fastener from an old unit back at their facility and "take care of it." Instead, I was told I owed roughly $100 for this visit, despite the issue originating with their prior service. After multiple calls, I spoke briefly with the owner, who said he would investigate and get back to me. He never did, the service call was in June. About two weeks later when I called for an update, the receptionist told me the charge had been waived and she'd leave a message with he owner, but no one has ever followed up about the missing fastener or the energy loss. Today, I went into the attic myself with a flashlight, mirror, and magnet. In about 30 minutes I located the original fastener inside the unit and repaired the enclosure properly. I should not have had to do this. Based on this experience--poor workmanship, delay in response, an inadequate temporary fix, an attempted charge for their error, and no meaningful follow-through--I cannot recommend Philbrick Inc. VNG told him that I needed a plumber. The technician also gave his general assessment of what he thought was the problem. It wasn't a surprise to learn that my regular plumber didn't do gas appliances since they require additional certification & equipment. He referred me to someone who referred me to someone else. I checked the Yelp reviews for that plumber & Philbrick, the plumbing company used by the restoration company that has done work for me. Philbrick had good reviews. The other had bad. Thank you Yelp! Calling Philbrick I expected a wait for service. Their customer service person put me on hold then returned to the line with great news. They had someone in the area & could come right away. Amazing! My tenant was home so I hoped to handle my end over the phone. The technician called on the way to the property and we discussed the problem. He finished getting the pilot light lit in record time & called me from the house. When that particular pilot light is lit there is a button you have to hold in for a specific amount of time. He had instructed my tenant on what had to be done. Both the trip charge & the charge for starting the pilot light were extremely reasonable. We handled the transaction over the phone with a credit card & the receipt was emailed to me. Randy, the technician was extremely nice and answered all my questions regarding the age & normal life span of the appliance. I also questioned the life span of electric hot water heaters, which I have in my main residence. I've had a hot water heater flood before. So I wanted to avoid that at both properties. When I thanked him for the prompt response he told me that he had been rerouted to me. His next call had been sent to another technician. That's the perfect way to handle "In Home" scheduling by a repair center. This company receives my highest recommendation. Thank you for making what started as a really bad day not bad at all. I realize this is a busy time of year for them but as loyal customers that have spent thousands with them, we're put at the bottom of the list. They offered to push back our contract dates in case our next appointment (one month from now) gets pushed again. What's the point in even having an agreement with them if they never get to our house? Strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your geothermal needs. A company that can't keep appointments with loyal customers is not worth working with.

I asked her how many hrs. I was being charged for and she said 3. I told her that he left my home twice and then his hand starts shaking and he told Mrs. Debra to take off an hour. This is not the first time a Plumber from this company tried to over charge me. March 31, 2021, I had a kitchen sink faucet installed and Mr. James (RIP) to him tried to over charge me too. Their price was $150 per hr. When he handed me the bill, it was for $187.50. I said what is this. He said they had to find a place to park. That was bull crap! There is parking in front of my house along the curb. I asked him to call Ms. Christmas, and I told her what I was being charged for and that I sat at my kitchen table the entire time. Then I told her that James stayed under my kitchen sink for exactly 1hr. She started laughing. I don't know if it was a nervous laugh, or you caught us laugh. Whatever the reason for her laughter I told her it wasn't funny. I still have the bill to prove it! Before they come to your home or business ask them if they charge for PARTS and GAS when they have to leave because they don't have the so-called proper tools but they're master plumbers. I had to hire another plumber that cost me an extra $200 to fix the shabby job that Curtis did on the PEX COUPLING. I will be adding my bill photos below.
