Louis and Karmon Walker On July 3, our septic service backed up into the basement utility room, and every toilet in the house was suddenly slow in draining. We realized our septic system badly needed pumping. We called every septic service in Woodland Park (we live in Divide) and as far away as Colorado Springs only to get answering machines. The few services that did call back said they couldn't take care of us for weeks and in one case until Sept. We posted a plea for help on the Woodland Park page on Facebook, and someone suggested we call Brown Septic. Tom not only called us back, he promised to be there the next day to at least find the clog in our system and give us some breathing room until he could pump out our tank. The next day, JULY 4th, good to his word, he opened our tank, broke up the obvious clog and then extracted our pipes to release an even denser blockage. He set us up to have the entire septic tank pumped out a week later, and in the meantime we can at least flush our toilets and shower. Tom showed up when no one else would or even return our calls, and did it during a busy holiday. Tommy tells it like it is and unfortunately things in his trade are scandalous . . . BUT even though the truth hurts, it heals. We bought a home in Divide and naturally, septic pumping and inspection were requirements for the seller to provide prior to our approval of the contract. Unfortunately we trusted that they hired an honest septic service company to do the work and provide inspection . . . . something that they falsified. I suspected something was wrong and researched reviews of pumpers and found Tommy. The jury is out as of yet as to whether or not we can save our system . . . had not been pumped AT ALL and both chambers full of S - - T and damaged leachfield . . . . had not been properly serviced, if at all for possibly a decade based on nealry 2+ feet of sludge at the bottoms!!!! Tommy pumped it all out . . . 2 TRUCK LOADS and we will be using enzymes to see if we can save the system . . . while also paying a visit to a lawyer. This past summer we wanted have the tank pumped out at our cabin, just south of Divide Colorado. Several vendors said they would not drive up off the paved roads to help us. We finally contacted Brown's Septic Pumping and he was willing to drive up to help us. I was expecting to have to go down to the "road" and lead him up to the cabin. But nope, just before our scheduled time, here he comes driving up our little gravel road. He got his truck in the place he wanted and began to pump out the tank. He also used water to make sure to rinse the tank out and really get it clean. He was quite talkative, entertaining and informative. Be advised - HE ONLY TAKES CASH - (or at least that was my experience.) He did a great job and I would call him in a minute if I needed his services again. read more

Ameridri is a remediation company and we were called to a job in Divide. The home's crawl space was filled to the top with septic overflow (5 feet deep). We called Brown Septic, among others, to get someone to come out and pump out the crawl space and septic. Brown Septic was the first to call me back - and the most helpful! Tom came out THE SAME DAY and pumped everything out and cleaned up after...he also replaced the septic cover which had been damaged by the previous company. This guy is a Crook...had him come out and he said we had some pipe iissues....so wanted 2000. Up front..to do the work. I gave him the up front money and the next day he never called or showed up.He kept making excuses as to why he couldn't do the work.So we fired him ..and I put a stop on the money which was for work he never did. HE CUSSED ME OUT BECAUSE MY DOG WAS PLAYING WITH HIM...I didn't appreciate that..and he stole a pinch bar of ours also. DONT HIRE THIS GUY..HECIS REALLY TEARING APART HIS DADS LEGACY. Tommy Brown was the only conractor who answered his phone. First step how to get a job! Spoke with him several times to discuss my needs. He was very receptive, called me prior to his scheduled appointment time to let me know he was on his way, most appreciated. Performed the services requested efficiently and timely. Called several "local" companies and he was the only one responsive who " serviced my area." Very pleased with his serices and responsiveness. Paid $750.00 to pump and clean which is higher than expected however, I don't have a pump truck to get the job done, so sometimes you bite the bullet. read more

Had Mr Brown come pump out my septic I highly recommend him he helped me pull the lid off and gave me advice for my septic tank it hasn't been done for 2 years and he did an excellent job he made sure it was all cleaned out with a high-pressure nozzle then he noticed because of all the solids on top that we need to check my outlet and sure enough it needed to be fixed he got it fixed and the money he saved me was thousands by noticing these simple things with my septic system it didn't take much longer to fix and his prices were lower than his competitors I highly recommend you use him read more

Woah! This dude saved me from getting a whole new septic system, and it cost me under $1000 by the time all was said & done vs a totally new $5000 setup. $375 per pump. Mine took 2 pumps. A whole lotta chit goin on mon... Part of my system was deteriorating, and he fixed it for about $100 xtra with a pvc modification. Genius here. Don't underestimate. Here it is, over 5 years later, and I'm about to schedule a pumping, and another checkup, but my septic environment is living, and running great! read more
