They diagnosed it as the latter, thus saving us a ton of money (& costing them a ton in billing.) Tristan & his helper said what they'd do, did what they said. Every time I looked out the window they were busy working hard, no smoke breaks, no standing around doing nothing. They finished the job in one day and billed us a reasonable amount.

Josh answered my phone/email inquiries in a timely manner. He was at my house thirty minutes before our appointment on a day when bad weather rolled in. Most others would have cancelled, but he showed up. Josh was personable and professional, and he was surgical with his machine. Anglers rates are comparable to most others in the area, and I didn't feel bad about cutting him a check when the work was complete. If you need some earth moved, consider Anglers first! After spending an inordinate amount of time trying to find…read moresomeone/anyone to install my septic system to no avail, my grandson recommended Dave and he promptly contacted me and worked diligently with me throughout the whole process, including some unforeseen difficulties with the geologic engineer's initial site plan, which became unfeasible due to excessive blasting too close to the cabin. We had to go to "Plan B" (a holding tank versus an septic tank and field) and Dave was unfazed by the change in the plans and proceeded to get the job done and, as a bonus, cut down the large pine trees which had to be removed, cut them into fireplace size logs and stacked them (WOW). He also took the large rocks from the blasting for the holding tank and arranged them beautifully on my property facing the road and landscaped the area where the holding tank was installed. Dave also put in a new culvert for me and my neighbor. Dave is conscientious and meticulous and does a wonderful job at a fair price. If I could give Leading Edge Excavation 10 stars, I would have.

Absolutely avoid if you want an honest assessment or technician willing to work. I confirmed in advance that we wanted our sewer line cleaned to comply with our inspection during our home sale. The technician came out and said he was going to scope it first, not the service we asked for, and then told my husband repeatedly it didn't need to be cleaned. I later got an email with a recommendation for a cleaning at $1400 and a bill for $154 for scoping the line. I already have an appointment to have the line scoped after the cleaning tomorrow by the original company who scoped it. Never asked for a scope, asked for a cleaning. I've attached the communication that they could do the cleaning while in site. Really challenging when the technician said no cleaning necessary, no repairs necessary and then sends an estimate for recommended cleaning and repair. Moving on to the next company who can maybe do the work we hire for and not waste hours of our time and now days.
