I would give Dr. Jimmy Walker a MILLION stars if I could. Let me tell you why…read more.. I started seeing Dr. Walker when I was in Kindergarten for my first pair of glasses, and he helped me through every phase of my life and eyecare needs. When I was 8 and decided I wanted to wear contact lenses, he said I could do it if I would walk down the hill every day for a couple weeks for him to help me put them in. When out of the blue my eyes started changing on a monthly basis, Dr. Walker was there for me. When I went away to university, I would still visit for my annual eye exam. Then when I moved halfway across the country, I tried really hard to find a local optometrist that I loved. I have extraordinarily bad vision (-11, -12), and I couldn't find a doctor who could get me to see as well as my hometown guy. So well into my late 20s I would still fly home to Winnfield for my eyecare. I've since found a local place that I love, but Dr. Walker holds a special place in my heart. When it comes to eyesight, there are very few things in my life as important, and he always treated me like I was his only patient.
