Each and every time you walk in the door you are greeted with a genuine "welcome" ( something that…read morenever happens anymore ) staff is friendly and available to answer questions ( also something you don't get much anymore) . Today I watched a woman try to change tags and get a stack of plates for $5 she yelled at the 2 men working because they simply stated " I am sorry but that price is wrong " they didn't humiliate her ( I would have) they said "I am sorry but those are $20 .. she argued and ended up yelling "BAD BUSINESS!!" And ran out to her car parked in the tow away zone ! Classic "karen" anyway ! That's not the point ! The point for me is ... the staff handled the situation with professionalism/ courage and grace .. BUT .. the best part is that tucked back on the left of the store are aluminum full and super sturdy full size chafing pans for .... .99 cents !! I kid you not !! Then sterno for .79cents !! What ????? I pay $2.50 at walmart and have to stack TWo pans to prevent them from collapsing!! Sterno is $3.99 !! Sad for you .. I bought them out thinking they were on sale !! BUT the knowledgeable staff told me that's standard pricing !! Ok so long story (well) longer .. great staff - great convent location- amazing selection - Super PRICES !!- and locally owned !! I located Kerry's party for less and called to speak with Kerry directly, her personality is contagious and uplifting with a happy tone with such sincere dedicated towards her business she certainly is passionate about. I ordered a number of balloons with great direction from Kerry's recommendations that were exceptional to meet my expectations. Kerry delivered the balloons herself to set the balloons up in the various areas we discussed adjusting them throughout the home in preparation for my daughters Shower. Buffalo is not really a Party City especially not compared to Austin Texas for example where I was recently - but if you're going to party in Buffalo then you might need a party shop. And this is as good as any. It's not dirt cheap but they do have a lot of cool stuff and they're here all the time, year round, located inside the insanely busy outdoor strip shopping mall on the Boulevard. As I said - It's an outdoor strip mall and getting in and out of here is a total nightmare but if you do make it to this store it's a pretty good one as far as party stores go.

I was looking for birthday balloons for a 12 year old. Their selection is massive! A bit overwhelming for myself who is indecisive. The balloon selections are all blown up and displayed on the wall for you to see and each one has a number. You then tell the staff which number you want and you go pay for the deflated balloons. Then you take them to get inflated. They were not too busy on a Sunday afternoon and estimated it would take 20 minutes. They were ready in under 10. While I waited I browsed through their Halloween decorations and costume selections. The staff was kind and I appreciated their time and patience with me. It was a great experience.

That's fine but you could have had a sign up or made an announcement instead of letting us wait in your long line for nothing. Meanwhile there were three other employees in the store standing around doing nothing and nobody was filling any balloons.
