Didnt even want to give one Star!!! - This is by far the worst company with the rudest people I have encountered in my life. They don't care about helping you settle your debt or working on a solution they want you to pay what you owe and that's that!! They make you feel like a terrible person if you can't pay it and that it is 100% your fault that your in collections, not respect in trying to understand that life happens and sometimes when you are knocked down and try to get up you are knocked down 5 more times. Astoundingly unprofessional group. They called me looking for an elderly person I helped with medical issues. I tried explaining his communication issues so the lady could have a productive interaction with him but she didn't care. She was rude and ended up hanging up on me. Seriously??? I'm trying to help set you up for success. It seems like of all industries to care when someone wants to help you succeed, debt collection should be it. Given how many of these reviews focus on the lack of professionalism, I wish there was a way of knowing who hires them. I'd be for avoiding dealing with anyone who deals with BCS. read more

BY FAR THE WORST group of people I have had to deal with! They are rude on the phone, harass you at your job 2-3 times a day! Then they threaten you saying they will turn over your debt to a lawyer's office if you don't give them a payment right then and there! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I explained to them I was not in the position to give them what they were demanding because of a surgery I underwent and had not been to work in 5 MONTHS! the woman stated 'Well you somehow manage to pay your rent and your phone bill don't you?' This co has called me several times about a med co pay which they were suppose to bill secondary ins. I told them that several times but they just become rude. they told me they put it on my credit report which I replied I check my score frequently and it was not there. this is not my bill but my disabled husband's bill. Then she told me she will find my ssn and put it on my report. Talk about unprofessional! And this is a very small amount-less than $50 but it's the principal of the thing. I understand their job is to collect a debt but be professional in doing so. They are quick to harrass you but when you send them an email in return to their letter they IGNORE it... TWICE‼ Very rude, lack customer service skills. Clearly they have no training and hire anyone off the street. Customer service score is beneath a less than one star. read more

I am giving them a 4 cause as a debt ower I understand not everyone has the funds to pay I had a debt of over 2k for medical bills yes for awhile I wasn't able to pay anything but after many years when I got my social security and was financially able to pay on my debt I called and made arrangements. They worked with me on a payment that was affordable and when I'm having difficulty they work with me. They are courteous. I had my bill finally paid off until my husband had a heart attack but are again working on my same schedule to help me. read more

I tried to explain I could not make payments in the full 10 percent, the conversation quickly became hostile and threatening, shouting things like " well I was willing to work with you with 10 percent payments but I dont need any of your payments I need to get the bill in full and I will just garnish your wages, I was willing to help but you just want to pay the amount you want to pay and I am not going to do that" mind you no this is not the amount I want to pay it is the amount after budgeting other Bill's that I am ABLE to pay regardless of my income due to overhead and other things in my life that cant be proven on paper with paystubs. the supervisor was not only unable to work with me she was unwilling and started saying how she doesnt have to take my payments she will just garnish my wages and several other threats. I will not say I was being very pleasant either but when someone is telling you they are not only unwilling to work with you but refuse to work with you by belittling you I can not honestly say I can work with a company like that. I would hope large account holders like ymrc figure out how harmful a company like this is especially because I did not know this bill was sent to collections and literally called the hospital yesturday to set up payment when I was told it had already been sent. I hope the owner can see comments like this because I doubt if I leave a message for the owner that it will actually get to her , so here's to a lost payment and lost account due to someone's feeling they dont have to be a customer service representative. read more

Absolutely terrible. I had called to get a medical bill paid by giving them my insurance information, & the receptionist was absolutely the rudest. She told me they would call if there was a problem, never called. Yet the bill still shows on my credit history as not paid. You have 1 job!!!!! read more

Kay Rayes is crazy. She called requesting information but was yelling when asked why was she so aggressive she said she could. When asked to please lower her voice to give her the new information since we didn't reside at the old address she had she went ballistic. when asked to speak to a manager since we couldn't get a word in she said "I am the supervisor and you speak to me not the owner Mr Brown" and then proceded to hang yup So to Betty S. yes we did have something in collection that didn't even break a business account that was over $100.00 since we never received the letter to the correct address.
