Inside the store has been updated and there are 100s of cowboy boots on display, sorted by size. There is western wear for men, women and kids. ...and lots of hats. The salesladies are super friendly and willing to help direct you to whatever you are looking for. The store is fine. The first time I worked at this store during the summer, it was ok so I came back. The second time, I came back as a full time worker and a lot changed. The management was terrible and the store manager was constantly micromanaging everybody. Also my new coworkers were incredibly lazy and hard to get along with. One BIG red flag here was that management would instruct Hardside associates to clock out after the store closed, lock the doors, then make everyone wait until the cashiers finished counting their drawers before employees were free to leave. This would sometimes take more than a 1/2 hour! RIDICULOUS! Not to mention its against OSHA regulation 1910.36(d)(1) to lock the doors with people inside. "Employees must be able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge. A device such as a panic bar that locks only from the outside is permitted on exit discharge doors".
