Researching podiatrist online, Dr. Carollo's reviews were absolutely stellar, so I decided to give her a try, hoping the reviews weren't too good to be true. They absolutely weren't! Dr. Carollo is such a genuinely kind and attentive doctor. She really listened to what I was experiencing with my foot and gave me several non-invasive options to try to heal an inflamed nerve. I'm happy to report after following her recommendation and getting custom orthotics the nerve has finally healed and feels back to normal. And as an added benefit the orthotics have helped some other foot and ankle fatigue I previously experienced after working out. A win-win! My shoe size has changed almost a full size but when he ordered my new orthotics he ordered a size too small from a visit year or two prior. He's very friendly, patient, sympathetic, and listens well. He's prompt, so there is no sitting in a waiting room for an hour. When I had to decide on surgery last year, he explained every step of the procedure, the cost, the time I would be under anesthesia, possible complications, recovery, and when I would be back to "normal." I'm too old for normal. Anyway, he warned that he's conservative with Achilles repair. Others might say recovery is six weeks, but he gives it seven to eight weeks. After hearing the horror story (not told by the doctor) of a marathoner who insisted on just five weeks of recovery, I deeply appreciate his caution. I know he spoke with my husband after surgery, and it must have been thorough because my husband knew everything that was happening to me before I did, including excessive thirst. Another amazing thing about this office is that when my husband was laid off at the beginning of the pandemic, they didn't hound me to pay my bill. They didn't send a bill collector or wreck my credit. They were wonderful about it. Elizabeth and Tonya are fun and laugh at my jokes. It's unusual to have everyone in a doctor's office be nice and personable, but this small group of people gets along with each other and with patients very well. I highly recommend Dr. Tim Snyder at Associated Foot Clinic in Lake Orion. He's a great doctor who will help you get back on your feet (bah-dum-tiss!).

They have the worst billing department, they constantly don't record payments and then turn over…read moreyour account to creditors. If you make a payment keep all receipts or better yet pay with a credit card in case you lose a receipt. Any cash payments made at the office especially don't get recorded. They also tried to charge me $550 twice for PRP saying I got it done two weeks in a row when that is not even possible medically and then argued with me about it. I won't go back only because of this issue, it's not worth the hassle. It's constant and even though I have receipts to prove payments they still continue to send bills and turn it over to a creditor. It's the most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with.
