Was not informed about this until I showed up for my appointment. Little did I know this would be the standard for every appointment that followed. I'm an idiot for giving them multiple second chances. It has been a revolving door of dentists. No one stays. You may as well be going to a school. The third dentist I saw filled multiple cavities and created issues I never had. I didn't have any issues until this filling. That tooth hurt and felt strange when I rubbed my tongue over it after he filled it for six months, when I returned. Another new dentist. He told me that tooth was now chipped- was perfectly fine before the previous filling- but assured me he could fix it. I reluctantly agreed. But to my surprise he fixed it. He was the BEST dentist I saw at this clinic. I started an Invisalign treatment with him. Took longer than it should to get trays. Was told at my next appointment they were having issues because the clinic was trying to put my case with another dentist and not with him. The practice called me and asked if I would be willing to see another dentist at a completely different office across town. I declined. The next appointment I am greeted by yet again-another new dentist... Tried to find where last dentist went online. Shockingly after googling him, despite being the best dentist I saw there, had the worst reviews of any single dentist I have ever seen in my life. I'm talking bad. Like 1 star across the board. Sidenote -I did find him and went to see him. Then was asked by him if I could demand a refund back at this practice and pay him- that day on a credit card to transfer my Invisalign. I only had about five trays left at this point. I declined that request too and wont be back there either. Had an appointment to pick up my last trays a few weeks ago. Showed up and was told my appointment had to be rescheduled because no dentists there was Invisalign certified. Desire, the secretary, did try to call me and left a voice mail but it was a Friday afternoon and appointment was for Monday morning. I still received a confirmation text Sunday, the day before. In my experience if an appointment needs to be rescheduled, they just cancel the appointment so you don't get conflicting information. I think it goes without saying if you get a text saying your appointment has been canceled, you will call back. Really disappointed in the chaos and unprofessionalism of everyone involved. I could keep going. Had one dental hygienist here ask me about my short-term rental business and showed interest in a vacation rental. I text her info to my air bnbs at her request and then she asked to me for a discount! Not in a funny way. She was dead serious.

They develop a care plan with you before treatment, so there are no surprises when you're done. My 5-year old daughter also is seen here and she has developed an early enjoyment of going to the dentist, which I know is uncommon. I am writing this review based on my sister's experience working at this dental office, as well as…read morewhat she shared with me about the workplace. My sister is a Black woman, and the way Black employees were treated raised serious concerns for me. She also described what she felt was unequal treatment among employees. According to her, one white employee was allowed to contribute very little to the workplace without facing the same level of scrutiny or consequences as others. This created concerns about favoritism and unequal standards. I also learned about another Black female employee who reportedly passed out after being exposed to blood. She continued working there afterward but was reportedly fired approximately a year later. This raised additional concerns about how Black employees were treated. It seems to be a pattern with Black individuals in general. Seeing Dr. Gooch wearing a "Gulf of America" T-shirt also made me uncomfortable and contributed to my concerns about the workplace environment. Based on my sister's experience and what she shared with me, I would encourage anyone considering this office to carefully consider their options.
