He was very knowledgeable but also compassionate. He spent time listening and asking questions to understand what I wanted and needed. I never felt pressure or hurried. He helped me find the car that was right for me. Brandon, a finance manager, was also extremely patient. He didn't pressure or hurry my decisions. Instead of a transparent review of my case, my concerns were dismissed by the dealership. Leadership instructed staff to ignore me. He was very professional and gave me some extra information which was helpful. While you are waiting on your vehicle, they update you via text message. We talked about a different dealership "work" that they could not fix. He said they could definitely fix it properly. So I said ok, order the parts. They should come in within 2 weeks. It took 60 days to get 1 problem fixed that could have been done day one. I sent a certified letter to the CEO of Purdy Group USA in Bryan and the same certified letter to the GM in Huntsville. NOT ONE RESPONSE to the letters. I agreed on a price plus TTL We absolutely no add ons! before I drove 4 hrs. To be there when you opened. You added $995.00 CarRx, $1,000.00 activation fee, $225.00 document fee and $30.00 document fee. That is $2,250.00 Over what I agreed to pay! You may have settled this to your satisfaction but not mine. I will continue to post my review everywhere I can for as long as I can in hopes of saving other people from this. This review is for the Bryan-College Station Toyota Dealership, and NOT for the vehicle I purchased from them. Basically, the behavior of their sales/financing personnel towards you clearly shows if they made a great-good-ok deal out of you. Their bad behavior towards me made me feel that probably they made a ok-ok deal out of me. Well, coming to my experience, I didn't have a US cell-phone number, so all my conversations/questions/negotiations made before walking-in were made via e-mails. I contacted 20+ Toyota dealerships in 500-mile radius with the exact same specs I need, and got the lowest out-the-door (OTD) price from someone 2-hr drive away. I forwarded their emails to BCS Toyota, which is my local dealership and asked them to match the price, which they did. However, I am very unhappy with the communication skills of the salesperson (Ms. Haley McCulley) I was assigned by the dealership. Most of the times, I had to wait 2-3 days for getting an e-mail reply. Then I was forced to copy my e-mails to the whole sales department, then I used to get a reply. I do understand that salespersons are very busy, but 2-3 days of delay is a bit hard to brush off. Additionally, I was late by 3 days to pickup the vehicle from the day we originally agreed (due to flooding on Interstate-10 on our road-trip, which was allover the news), which I also let them know by e-mails. For that delay, she replied that they would add the vehicle delivered for me on their sale inventory, and I can pick it if it's not sold to someone else. This was unprofessional. I was subjected to this kind of behavior after I paid a $500 reservation fee months before the delivery/pickup dates were discussed. I didn't appreciate this behavior. Additionally, I was financed with a 1% increase from the originally promised rate, for my 3-day delay. I was not communicated that the interest rate would be 1% more if I came 3 days late for my pickup. When I showed that the dealership 2-hrs away (near Austin) is giving for 1% less interest rate, she rudely said, "then go and buy there.. people in Houston lie". That was rude response coming out due to lack of education and experience. Actually, lack of education should give you more humbleness. Well, I didn't walk-in to buy her hospitality, but I didn't walk-in to buy her rudeness either. Just be professional and do your job. Another important advice to the dealership: Please email your customers like me about all plans with full prices, of the extended warranty, gap coverage and other plans you try to add to the final sale. I'm not saying that they are useless. But if you inform your customers ahead that these are optional but can be bought additionally if interested, it gives some time for the customers to research about them, and also shop around for better price in order to accept or deny your sales in an informed fashion. read more

Bottom-line: if you're looking for a dealership with integrity, this is not the one. I recently purchased a tundra from this dealership. I will say, my first impression was great. Everyone I dealt with seemed trust worthy, and we came to a deal that made sense for both of us. The issue started after purchase. The truck had to stay behind to do some minor repairs and finish the inspection, so I left and it would be delivered to me later. Part of the purchase agreement included the removal of some after market decals on the truck bed that the previous owner installed. So when the salesmen called me and said everything was good to go, and I'd have the truck that evening, I was ecstatic. That is until it showed up and I saw what was underneath the decal. The paint is permanately warped to show the outline of the decal. While the decal is removed, there was no mention of this defect on the phone or via text message. When I reached out to share my disappointment I was ignored and then ghosted. There's been no attempt to rectify, no options offered to fix this, and I'm left holding the $1500 bill for body work to return the paint to what my expectation was. While I can understand that the decal removal didn't go as planned for them either, I can NOT understand the lack of integrity displayed with not sharing it with me before they shipped it off, nor the lack of empathy when I brought it to their attention, and certainly not their decision to ignore my concerns. We have contacted BCS Toyota many times and even gone in with proof of purchase receipts and still have yet to have the products delivered that we paid for. By now there are holes in the carpet floorboard and it almost feels pointless to post anything but I want others to be aware not to accept any kind of delivery until all items are delivered or they will drag their feet and steal your money! I had to get those replaced shortly after I spent all the money I spent on buying the car initially. And I brought it in for oil change yesterday and they waited until after I pick the car up to tell me the brakes need to be replaced. So I brought it in today at 8 o'clock it is now 1225. They told me the car would be ready by 11 and it's still not ready. Then they gave me a rental and the rental needs to be serviced so I had to bring the rental back all day almost just going back-and-forth between my house and Toyota and my car still isn't ready yet! PLEASE READ MY REVIEW TO STAY SAFE (literally) TLDR; This dealership service center will try to sell you services you do not need and, if you do not get their recommendation, will tamper with that part of your car to make it seem like their diagnosis was right so you'll come crawling back later to ask for repairs. Do NOT let them touch your car for any reason. They purposefully ruined my tires and I barely had control of my car driving to work. Finally, if you already purchased new tires from them CHECK THE DOT NUMBERS to make sure they did not put old tires on your car! If you were scammed by this dealership, PLEASE FILE A CONSUMER COMPLAINT WITH THE TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL, BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AND FTC like I did. If they get enough complaints they will investigate. Here's my story: I purchased my used car (2017 Toyota Corolla) on 2/13/2018 in Houston. On 10/05/2018, I brought my car into the BCS Toyota dealership and got 4 new tires. At the time, the mileage was 43,268. Last Tuesday, 10/17/23, I brought my car into BCS Toyota for an oil change and decided to get a preventative balance and rotation since it had been a while. I also got new filters and the pipe cleaned at their suggestion. According to the inspection report, I have tire treads marked as "Greater than 6 mm," and I was told by Russell Karli, the service agent, even while still in my car, before the inspection and servicing, that the treads looked good, there's no uneven tire wear, that I took good care of the tires, but that the DOT number on the front left showed that it was from 2016 and that even with minimal usage you would recommend getting anything older than 5 years changed out for new tires. I declined as the tires seemed fine, and I was only there for the rotation and balance. He also noted that the battery was bad. The moment I drove off the lot after the oil and filters change, rotation, and balance, I noticed the steering wheel was shaking and moving much more than usual, and the car did not drive well, but I reassured myself that this was possibly because I just got it balanced. Thankfully, I only live a few miles away and wouldn't need to go to my work in Houston until Friday. Saturday, 10/20/23, I drove to Houston in the morning, and the car still felt off, but once I entered the freeway and got to about 50 mph, I knew something was very wrong--the car began shaking intensely, and a strange noise I had never heard before came from the car. At one point, the tire pressure light began blinking, then stayed on for a few minutes, but turned off by itself as soon as I entered HWY 6. The noise and shaking did not stop, however, and I was seriously worried my safety was in jeopardy, but I was already halfway to work. I called the BCS Toyota dealership to see if anything could be done, but had no luck speaking to Russell after a few tries. However, he did receive my email as I heard from him in the afternoon, apologizing and saying to bring my car to any Toyota dealership in Houston to have it looked at, and they would comp the cost of work to rebalance. Saturday, 10/21/23, I took my car to Don McCall Toyota. The diagnosis was that the tires had bubbles in them, and the treads were separating. The tire DOT numbers were also written for me: 40/15, 18/16, 32/17, 20/17 (see photo below). The odometer reading was 75,422. I got new tires and paid for those out of pocket since they would not cover it because I declined the tire change and the problem was not related to balance/rotation. Based on the above: 1) Issues were felt immediately from the moment I drove off the lot on Tuesday after being serviced by BCS Toyota. There was no shaking, noises, or issues with steering prior. Their inspection report also stated that my treads are good (see the inspection with green checked) and the reason they said to change the tires was their age, not wear and tear. 2) Between the time I got the tires in 2018 until Tuesday, I had driven 32,024 miles and have an excellent driving record. According to Kelly Blue Book, "A properly maintained set of good-quality tires can have a useful life of 50,000 miles." I have all the receipts from every service I have done, take excellent care of my vehicle, and also evidence that I did not reach even close to 50,000 miles. The Yokohama tires also had 80,000 Miles for Tread Life Warranty Miles, if I recall correctly, along with the 6-year defect warranty. 3) The Yokohama tires I had purchased in 2018 from your dealership were NOT new. They were dated to 2015, 2016, and two to 2017. The car was manufactured in 2017 - how is it that the tires I have on it, put on in 2018, pre-date 2018, and at least two of them pre-date the age of the vehicle itself? I have asked to be recompensated for what happened, presenting all of this evidence, but have not yet heard back. read more

Yikes. Service was goofy enough to warrant a review. Came in 20 mins early for our appointment to receive a 1 hr service. No big deal. Last name is spelled wrong as it is a foreign name (this was pointed out in a previous review, so I thought I'd mention the recurring service issue). We asked for an approximation of when the service would start and for about how long it would take, nobody knew. Service advisor completely unaware, techs never contacted. Service manager nowhere to be seen, and we were never contacted. After waiting for two hours without receiving any form of contact from the business, we decided to inquire with the front desk about the timeline for our service because we did have an appointment for a rather quick adjustment. In the time it took for the service manager to justify his tardiness, absence, lack of customer service, and attentiveness, one of his techs came by and handed him the completed paperwork for our service. It was done. We attempted to pay and leave while the manager continued to justify his harassment of my partner and the direct absence of proper service, which was more difficult than it should have been. If it's your place, you can run it how you're going to, but you cross a line when you need your customers to be excited about it. We won't be back! The part we had replaced was about 3x the online retail value, as well. Labor was affordable, but replicable, and service was enough to prevent any future visits. We received very little and did not bring many expectations! Facility is far too advanced and overstaffed to be performing the way they are currently, please value your time & resources by taking your business elsewhere. read more

I made the mistake of inquiring online about a car giving my number and email. I was then bombarded! Calls non-stop. I worried about this and gave a fake number but they used caller ID and kept calling until I blocked them. That didn't stop the emails from Ashley . At least 5 a day! The sales girl said that she would continue emailing me daily until I respond. It was as if I had a stalker. I responded saying that I felt them pressuring me and it was pushing me away from the dealership. Her response?..."when can I expect you today?" (Ignoring my request). Come to find out they didn't even HAVE the car I inquired about! It had been sold and they simply were trying to get me there to hard sell me on something else. I spoke to my brother-in-law who was in the market for a truck. He said they swarmed him and my sister doing everything to prevent them from leaving to the point he became frustrated and just walked out having two people follow him in the parking lot (one knocking on his window as he began driving). Needless to say he bought a 50k Chevy right down the road. You are better off choosing a different brand unless you go to a different Toyota dealership. I HIGHLY recommend NOT going here. As for me...I ended up using Carvana to avoid high pressure sales people (the commercial nailed it). read more

We changed the battery in our 2008 Toyota Prius ourselves. Shortly after, it had some electrical issues which we assumed were loose wires. I called around to mechanics in the area and all quoted me $47.50 (1/2 hour labor) to look at the battery and test it. I called into the Toyota dealership and serviceman Jim said he'd check it out for free. He gave us a 45 minute estimated wait. They washed our windows and offered bottles of water. 45 minutes later, Jim said we were correct that the battery connections were just loose. They fixed it free of charge. I know dealerships are a bit more expensive when it comes to car maintenance, but in this case, it was worth it to know it would be done correctly. No more electrical issues and we are so thankful for the quick and financially painless fix. read more

Watch out for their tricks when you're getting a loan from them. Over the phone I was told I would get a 4.0 interest rate, about $250 a month in payments. When I was in the dealership, I was mysteriously given a $300 a month payment offer. They even tried to suggest that this was the correct rate I was offered on the phone. They eventually went back down to $250 and then apologized for some "mistake". But 30 minutes later they tried again to jack up the interest rate! And I again had to correct them on their "mistake" after telling them I would have to leave and cancel the entire car purchase if they didn't give me the phone call rate. So watch out for this place. I looked up what they did and its all legal, but it sure isn't ethical. It may be easier and safer to just go with something like Carmax. read more

I don't trust these guys one bit. I went to go look at a 2019 Camry XSE I believe, it was dirty and had a cracked bumper, Alright no big deal. Test drove it and decided I wanted to make an offer on it. This is when this dealership got suspicious. The salesman hands me the info on the new vehicle and my trade in value and both are way off. The vehicle was 6K overpriced and my trade in offer was 3K too low from all the other dealerships I've been to. So at that moment I realized, that it would be best to walk away at this time and maybe make an offer later. I just wasn't comfortable making an offer. Sounds ok right? Well the salesman was not having it. He told me I ALREADY BOUGHT THE VEHICLE even tho I haven't seen the total cost including title and tax. I'm not an idiot so I said I'm leaving give me my keys. Well they kept me hostage, saying I already bought the car or corporate is here today and I really wanna make a deal. They tried everything in the book when it came to trying to make me stay. After deciding that I no longer needed an SUV and wanted something a little more gas efficient I started looking around for a used hatchback in manual. After searching around for a few days, I finally found a listing by BCS Toyota for a 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo with pretty good mileage and in what looked like mostly stock internals. Gave them a call and Tyler was the man I got into contact with, he sent me pictures and covered all the bases I asked him to over the phone so I scheduled a meet to come out and see the car. It's about a two hour drive for me so I was hoping it would be worth it, got out and got to test the car, it had a problem with the AC but they assured me they'd fix it and the part was already on order. After driving it and checking the condition of a few other things I decided to buy the vehicle. A week later it was ready for pickup so I came back out to pick it up and drive home. Unfortunately after stopping to refill the car up and continue on home the engine light came on, so I immediately called to let them know what's going on and was told they would get back to me. After a few days and not hearing anything I checked in on it again and Tony got on it right away, they had me come back in and gave me loaner car on them to drive in the meantime. Tony and his crew were fantastic and fixed the problem within two days at no cost to me and I've had no other issues since. Wish I could leave this place negative stars. Drove a hour to look at this truck and waited another 30 minutes to see it. Cheyenne, shows me one of the most disgusting trucks I've ever seen like I wouldn't notice. This truck was disgusting and didn't have the options of the one I looked at online. On a Saturday afternoon, I dropped my daughter off at a sports camp in College Station and on the way back to Dallas, my low tire light came on. I drive a Honda but I was in front of Toyota so I pulled in with the hopes that they could help me. It was almost closing time but they said it was not a problem and that they would help me out.
