We gave these criminals and I repete criminals - gave them another chance because they had an opening and could look at my daughter jeep that was giving a high temp warning. They called me and recommended we replace the radiator and the ENGINE. No lie. I told my daughter to just leave and they charged her $200.00 on the way out. (She was there an hour). She drove the Jeep back to Baton Rouge and we took it to a shop here and they ran some test and determined it was a faulty sensor. They replaced it and have had zero problems. UNREAL. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THESE PEOPLE. I don't live there, but my father is the head track coach at Texas A&M and it made him pretty mad and he plans to tell everyone he knows to avoid "Christian" brothers. read more

I had dropped my truck off at 10 AM. I gave them all day to change my oil. I got back at 2:30 and they had just started to put it on the lift. They were acting as if their mothers told them to do smth and they waited till she was in the driveway to start. On top of all this they scratched a lady's car next to mine. Horrible service, do not recommend going unless you want to have more problems. read more

Dropped our truck off on a Tuesday morning to check out a front end noise and was told we would hear something that evening or Wednesday morning. I waited patiently till Friday to call and got tossed around not getting any answers. Ended up going down there to find they haven't even looked at it so we got the truck and left. We broke down between Gause and Hearne on the way back to San Antonio from East Texas. Had the truck towed to Christian Brothers on a Sunday. They had it fixed and ready to go on Tuesday. It was only a fuse that needed replacing. Very honest and nice people. Would highly recommend. read more

Asked for them to diagnose and look at a misfire on my truck, and told me it would be $980 just to find the root problem, and another $11k just to fix the engine when the truck itself is work $9k and I could get a brand new engine for $6k. Don't go to them if you haven't done your research before hand on what could be wrong with your vehicle as they will try to quote you ridiculous prices that not even the dealership itself would quote you. read more

I've been here twice in the last few weeks for an inspection, a head gasket leak repair, wheel alignment, and tire-life inspection on my Jeep Wrangler. The alignment cost was similar to other shops in the area that I called. The other services seemed appropriately priced. I found their customer service to be top notch. They listened to everything we told them and took detailed notes of all of our questions and concerns. They were highly communicative and provided text message updates throughout the process. They also sent me an email with the results of the inspection as soon as it was complete. They explained every detail of the issues they found and were willing to take the time to talk with me about other potential issues I had noticed. They pointed out things they found that I should keep an eye on as well. My car runs great after I took it in. I haven't had any recurring issues and I think it's running better now. If I run into any other problems, I'll definitely come back to CBA. read more

This seems to be newer location of 2 CB shops in the area. Stopped by without appointment 1 hour into a 7 day roadtrip to UT and CO with coolant leak issue on a Audi Q7. My blower motor was out and they gladly replaced it I works great .This morning they said they might need a special to remove the lock Ring on the motor.It has a push TAB like on a plastic gas can. You push the tab and turn the collar about an inch.They were trying to remove it from the wrong side of the car.After telling them how to remove the collar,my car was ready 2 hours later.$499 for a blower motor that MAZDA HAS FOR $301.00 ,which is even high.$1300 00 later and 9 days in the shop, my car is chillin again read more

No stars for them. So I will say this these people are nice, offer free wifi, free beverages, the inside is very nice and they give you flowers "after you pay" but that's about all the good they have going on. On Tuesday of this week, I got a message from my car that the engine was over heating (By the way I drive a 2013 Ford Focus with over 185000 miles on it). This car is one that gets tires rotated and oil changed at appropriate times. So its not like my car has never seen the inside of an auto shop in years or something. I live close by CBA and decided to take my car there. Dropped it off Tuesday (by the way the diagnosis fee was $146.39 which is the highest diagnosis fee I've ever paid, Ford normally charges me $70-100) and by Wednesday they had found the following wrong with my car; cooling system repair, replace coolant pipe and water outlet, replace thermostat and housing assembly, cooling flush, pressure test, replace serpentine belt and A/C belt, replace valve cover gasket, clean and degrease to check for additional oil leaks, engine air filter, brake flush, drain refill and bleed fluid and an oil change. The quote for just fixing my initial complaint (the engine over heating) was $1,300! I have never in my life paid that much for repairs on this car! So I went to pick it up b/c I thought I might as well purchase a cash car for that price lol. I also found it interesting that I've been driving all over the creation (Navasota, Houston, Dallas, etc) and had no issues (no wet spots under my car, nth unusual) but take it to them and they found a mountain of problems. After discussing things over with my family, decided to take it back (major mistake.. always go with your first mind) Thursday morning at 7:40a. CBA contacts me letting me know that they have to order parts that won't be there until Friday morning so my car would possibly be ready Friday afternoon. On Friday morning at 8:50am I received a message that my car was ready (the car that had a ton of issues was "supposedly" fixed very quickly and that the new price is now $1293 (wow much cheaper than quoted price -yay). So I contact them and ask for an itemized receipt and my parts that were removed. The staff member tells me that the part #s won't be included on the receipt but he can get me my "faulty" parts. An hour later I receive a message that the parts were thrown away and that the trash ran today so he won't be able to give me my parts (how coinvenient right?). So I let them know im unhappy. After work Friday at 5p, I go to pick up my car up and inquire about their "faulty parts" policy and he claims its policy to always throw the parts they remove from vehicles away. I also inquire about why they are sooo much more expensive than Ford (the place that produces Fords) and the staff members tells me its because they offer such a great warranty (lol are you kidding me.. who wants to pay $1300 for a warranty you may/may not even use?). I also inquire about why part #s aren't included on receipts (he claims ...you guessed it ..its company policy). I ask him to write these reason on my receipt b/c somethings just need to be in writing. He put "parts were given to metal pick up @ lunch time (I called and asked for my parts before lunch time so if he knew I wanted the parts why were they thrown away ?). I was charged $877.50 for labor ... yep you read that right!) Once again the most Ive ever paid for labor on any car. So lets do some basic math. I dropped my car off Thursday at 7a and they had to order parts that wouldn't be there until Friday. So no work was most likely done Thursday. They open at 7am but by 8:50a my car is ready. & my invoice has a time stamp of 8:06a. So where are they getting this price for labor from? Seems like possibly an hour or less was spent on the car for actual work so how on earth does one hour or less equal to $877.50? In total I spent $1,193.45 (they took $100 off due to me being unhappy about them "throwing my parts away"). $1193 for them to supposedly (I say that b/c w/o the old parts I have no way to know if they actually replaced or even worked on my car or to know if anything was even wrong with said parts) replace a coolant pipe, coolant outlet adapter, thermostat, do a cooling flush and a cooling system pressure test). I called Ford and priced checked online for parts at fordparts.com and it was much cheaper than what CBA charged .. like 3-4 times cheaper. The Ford dealership quoted $359 for parts and about $120 for labor thats $479, $714 cheaper than CBA. So just a warning, DO NOT GO HERE! I see reviews about them being a good place but I just can't agree. They've done too many shady things to this first time customer. It's sad that on their website they claim to want to make their customers feel confident about the services they receive and eliminate stereotypes but they've done the exact opposite (make me question everything and fully believe most mechanics are shady/liars)!
