Accidentally I came across Shelters Insurance Company where I met Ed Faber. I inquired about a quotation, and there he was like a thorough professional, explained me the products. I was convinced as the insurance product which he offered was best in my findings. Not only that, he also took all the pain in visiting me personally to make sure all the required formalities are done. I was at peace.... After some time I was again in need of different insurance product because this time I was buying new home.....I called Ed .....There he was, like a sincere advisor, explaining me all about home insurance. By that time he had started his own company "Insurance Gurus". To my surprise he never asked me to change my policy, but the kind of person and knowledgeable professional he is I followed him there. He not only educated me on the home insurance but also was present when I was signing my deed with the bank to advise me DOES & DON'T. Last winter there was some serious wind storm and I lost some of my roof shingles. The complete roof was damaged. Ed took complete care of me & my family by not only getting me insurance help but by also by calling on the roof repairing company and getting me the required assistance. Then came the real incident, where my Wife met with an accident, thank GOD no injury to her but my car was totaled. By now Ed was family...I called him and again there He was........ I am writing this to let you all know about Ed Faber, as not only he is a knowledgeable insurance advisor, but a kind hearted person. I am a foreigner to this country but he always treated me and my family as his own..... I will always refer everyone I know & is in need of insurance to approach Ed & Insurance Gurus...as I assure that you will not only get and best insurance product but will get a friend for life.... Ed....Thank you very much for everything....I wish & pray all the very best to you.... Sandeep Rathod Director-Operations

We were homeowner insurance customers for over 16 years with this agent. We suffered terrible water…read moredamage to our home as a result of a ruptured pipe in our kitchen one night. The damage was so extensive that we had to hire a restoration company to come in to remove the water, dry us out, and haul away our damaged floor coverings and furniture. The first call we made on the morning of our flood disaster was to Christy Cox. It went right to voice mail. We explained what had happened and that we needed to file a claim. Having never experienced anything like it, we asked for help with the claim process with Allstate. She never returned our call that day. In fact, no one from her office called us back that day. We ended up calling Allstate directly that afternoon to begin the claim process. The claims processor at Allstate is the one who ended up walking us through the process, answering all our questions, and reassuring us that we would be compensated for our losses. These are all things our agent should have done for us. Over two weeks went by before we heard from the agent's office. And when we got that call, it wasn't even our agent who called us.....just a clerk in her office. We got absolutely no service from this Allstate agent during our time of need. At no time, did she call to offer assistance or check on our progress. Allstate, the company, performed fairly well for us during our flood disaster. Christy Cox did absolutely nothing, not even a phone call.

I recently switched insurance providers after a representative named Steven called me from…read moreNatalie's State Farm office. He informed me that State Farm had lowered their rates and could save me money by switching. He reviewed my current Progressive coverages and assured me that the new State Farm would provide me with the same coverages and still lower my premium. Indeed, my premium was reduced, but to my surprise one of the reasons my premium was less, was due to the fact that Steven had left out collision coverage on of my vehicles not sure how that's possible since you just cant provide comprehensive coverage on a vehicle with all lien holder. But indeed he only applied comprehensive and collision coverage to one vehicle, not the other. The second vehicle only received comprehensive coverage, no collision. I trusted that the coverages would match since I reviewed the coverages on the first vehicle and compared them to my current insurance. However, I failed to check coverages on the second vehicle. The only reason I was made aware was because my credit union sent me a letter stating I was being charged $95 a month for February and March due to a lack of proof of insurance. Something that Steven had promised to handle informing my lien holders of the change "as part of the great customer service they provided ." Now, I realize that this was not the case and was merely an attempt to get me to switch. I contacted Natalie's agency to seek answers about why Steven had provided inaccurate coverages for my vehicles. Initially, he agreed that it was his fault and apologized, saying he didn't know how it happened. He offered to investigate and call me back. At that point, I was satisfied that he was trying to rectify the situation. I even requested that Natalie call me herself. To my surprise, Steven called me back not Natalie I guess she was too busy. He reiterated that it was my fault because I did not request collision coverage yet I got it on vehicle and not the other strange!! He advised me I should have checked my coverages and explained that there was nothing he could do. Not only had I been misled with the initial quote, but I now have to pay my credit union for the lack of accurate coverage for the last two months and the additional cost of adding collision coverage. The only thing I'm thankful for is that did not have a collision claim because I would have been even more screwed. Lesson learned, not sure how she has 5 star reviews with this kind of customer service and lack of accountability.
