I personally called the IRS and verified that no extension had ever been filed, despite being repeatedly told by them that an extension had been submitted. Communication was extremely poor. After calling more than 100 times, I would finally receive a response, only to be given misleading information. They claimed my filing had been completed, but it was actually filed more than 20 days later. When I requested a refund, I had to involve my credit card company to dispute the charge. Throughout the entire process, I had to fight for every step. They charged me $600 for services that were handled incorrectly and unprofessionally. I strongly advise students, startup founders, and small business owners to avoid using this service. Based on my experience, they made multiple errors, provided inaccurate information, and demonstrated a lack of professionalism.

Pam was my main tax consultant. On filing day She thought it would be reassuring to let me know every 5 minutes that she has had 4 hours of sleep. At one point she actually said: "we should not be doing taxes on 4 hours of sleep." I let her gripe because I just want my taxes done. Then she sneaks in little remarks about how I'm a burden on her. This is an actual quote I noted in my phone when she said it: "As much as I enjoy your messes, I don't want to see you until next year. No offence, but that's how I feel about it." Sure, I get that your job can be stressful. However, you're handling somethig important of mine, please at least pretend to care about your job and my taxes. At the end she forgot to have me sign the documents that I needed paper-mailed and she told me that she would mail them for me because she's "always looking for an excuse to go on break." Well I have to go back in, now that the deadline is up because they don't actually mail in your paper document for liability reasons if something were to happen to it in the mail. Thanks Pam.
