I currently am enrolled at Bryant & Stratton College online. Now, I saw other people's reviews and I'm sorry that they had the bad experience that they had. I don't physically go to the college, I am taught through the online program that they have. I can say that the work is challenging, it can at times be difficult, and yes, to some degree I am really just teaching myself how to do certain things, but then again, I chose to do the online college aspect of schooling, so I would expect that I have to teach myself. As for the staff at Bryant & Stratton, I can only speak about my instructors. I have not once had any issues with any of my instructors. They have all helped me when I had questions, they never ignored me or brushed me off when I asked a question. Each and every one of my instructors has shown that they want me to succeed, but I also have to remember that for me to succeed, means I have to put forth a lot of hard work, determination, and effort. So, that is what I do, but it is not an easy thing to do. Online learning is challenging, but it can be rewarding. Either way, my experience has been wonderful at this college. The only reason I did not give them a 5-star review is that they are very expensive, frankly a little overpriced in my opinion, but I am receiving a good education for the money they are getting from me and I can only hope that I will be able to apply the things that I learned in this college to my future career. read more

I am a student here (military brat) and I don't recommend this college at all. My father was first class in the army and he didn't serve for his daughter to be skammed by people who don't want to educate. The office staff is rude and after you sign papers they don't pay you any mind. The instructors are unprofessional and don't teach thoroughly. They just automatically assume you know what you're doing and cheat you out of your money with a smile. They only give you one nurse uniform and they treat different cultures inappropriately. They profile people and they honestly are part of a pyramid scheme to cheat potential nursing students and it's all just a waste of time. Only up side was I got books from the program that technically my father paid for since I wasted up to $1500 on classes. Do better Bryant and Stratton, some of these students are our future nurses and doctors and your teaching strategies and lack of professionalism is what's intoxicating pharmacies and hospital rooms. I don't recommend hiring anyone who's graduated from here. The trash can photo explains this building perfectly. And no it's not a compliment. My condolences to ROB the guy who used a smile to manipulate people into sighing papers from jump. Poor preparation and I had a terrible experience being targeted while trying to get a genuine Degree. read more

Ok so B&S had to be the worst experience of my life. Let me first start off by saying that I hold a bachelors of Science in Biology. I wanted to now focus my career in becoming a nurse. During my application process the staff was so nice and inviting (because they are trying to get you in there and take your money I found out later). Once class started you are informed that if you fail 2 core classes you will be removed from the program, which I don't have a problem with if you are preparing me to succeed and not fail. The 1st 5weeks your in classroom settings and lab, week 6 you start clinical. During the first 4 weeks of preparation for the final that we would have to take on week 5 the instruction was Horrendous to say the least. The staff was unprepared, shortage of teachers and instructional time was a waste. My teacher would talk more about her experience in the ER than teach me the necessary information so I could one day work in the ER. Instead of teaching us the formulas for our calculations test that we would be taking week 3, she went in Quizlett and just clicked through questions. I politely raised my hand and asked Andrea(teacher) if she could show us the formulas so we could understand how to find the answer Incase the numbers on the word problem had changed. She told me they did not leave that for her to teach she's going by her email cause this was her 1st year teaching so she was confused, then dismissed me and said next question. I raised my hand again and expressed to her my concerns of feeling unprepared for the upcoming test due to a lesson never being taught. She felt as if I was being disruptive and removed me from class in which I had to write a statement on what happened. My horrible experience her is too much to express but I ended up leaving week 6 because I did not feel it was fare to pay tuition at an institution in which I was not being taught. I even set a meeting with the nursing department chair for 5pm with my mother (they were unaware of my disabled mother arrival because I wanted them to show their true colors and allow my mother to see how rude and disrespectful they really are to me) the Department chair Debbie did not come down to the meeting until 7:08pm. 2hrs and 8mins she had us wait to talk to me for less than 10 mins to then tell me "ok it's time for me to go back to class" I felt brushed off and insulted that she could have me wait that long and show this level of unprofessionalism. The Director of the school wasn't any better. So just save your Time, money and headache. I went into a deep depression after my experience here. I was trying and giving my all but was left to teach myself and be tested on material that was never given to me. read more

If you are considering BSC for Nursing school, DON'T. It's the absolute worst. They are not there to help you learn the information, you teach yourself and they will constantly change things up to make every issue your fault even when it comes down the campus. They could give you an unsat for one thing and then once you can prove that it shouldn't be an unsat They will come up with other crap to keep it as an unsat. DON'T GO HERE. Spend your money somewhere else. read more

Bryant & Stratton has been the worst experience ever. I do not recommend anyone to go there. In the beginning they sweet talk you and do everything to get their money. Since I've went to orientation I haven't liked the school since. In orientation everybody was all mixed together (PN and RN). You had to figure out what classes you were in to get the tracking calendars. My first Fundamentals lab class was awful. We had 5 instructors in that one class. They expect you to know conversions by giving you that stupid paper instead of helping you or having a class to show you how to do conversions. While taking the conversions test, all of the instructors were so close to you and watching you as you take the test. After the conversions test we practiced taking blood pressure. I worked with the lady beside me as we rotated taking each others bp. One of the instructors named Faye Lemon had the nerve to keep vigorously tapping me on my shoulder multiple times. I felt as they were picking with me because I was the youngest in the class. Especially Faye Lemon. Even my other fellow classmates noticed what Faye was doing. Rebecca Caldwell is aslo rude. She looks for the smallest things to give you an "unsat" She doesn't try to help you at all. When she informed me about my conversions final attempt score she felt the need to have another person come with her to take me into the sim lab. I hate Bryant & Stratton! This school is so unorganized. read more
