He was super friendly and didn't seem flustered even with all the customers questions. Paul came in to help out and just took over helping me at the register while Donte helped another customer. It was nice to see how well the team works together. My husband and I were in and out in like 20mins to rent two separate instruments for our twins. Both Dante and Paul were so knowledgeable and so patient with us as we had several questions. While Marty couldn't help us behind the register, he was so kind and greeted us immediately when we walked in the door. It's very rare to have a shopping experience as pleasant as this one was. Kudos to all three guys, I can tell that they truly care about music and their customers.

Now I know people make mistakes and forget. But I pay them near up to 100$ a week just for no teaching. They also did NOT in fact inform me that they were out. I might even cancel it at this point. This store is good I just don't recommend paying for lessons as it is unfair and only 30 minutes.

He teaches to my learning style, he's patient and thorough, and consistent with his reminders of how I should be playing (finger placement, posture, and all). Though his style may seem scattered at first, he really does a great job of building off of what we learned from the previous week while keeping it interesting. John helped me to learn four songs on the ukulele in about five weeks when I had never played the ukulele before. He had lots of great suggestions about easy ways to learn chords, strumming patterns and how to tune and take care of my uke. John was patient and clear in his directions -- two great qualities to have in a music teacher! If I didn't understand something, he was easily able to demonstrate it for me until I figured it out. Our daughter loooooooved taking lessons with Erin! We have no complaints at all, Erin really got Ava interested by making it fun... She even taught Ava how to play some Harry Potter pieces We originally started with Del Ray Performing Arts Center because Erin was there, and when she moved to ROAM we were so relieved. Unlike DRPAC, ROAM is incredibly consistent with billing dates and always accurate. The owner, John, is very personable and professional. We usually waited in the lounge while our daughter was in her lesson, and it seemed like all of the other students and parents were happy with their respective teachers as well. We recently moved to Texas, and we will miss all the folks over at ROAM!
