For example, -- the sturdy rubber liner of the newly-built pond is layered between high-quality felt fabric positioned beneath it and above it, and each layer is all one continuous piece -- the edges of the liner all around the pond are solidly covered, and have six to twelve inches of additional length to allow for adjustments due to any settling or shifting -- the drain pipe for the nearby house downspouts has been appropriately repositioned and embedded in the ground -- every boulder is securely positioned and safe to walk on -- the filtration system and waterfall box are those intended for use in a pond, not a pondless waterfall Because of those changes and others related to reliability, aesthetics, and utility, the new pond is an absolute delight. First thing they did was cut a 6xx6 support on the stairs that were put in 2 days before for some reason. The contractor was out that day and I talked to him. They came out and put in some more concrete and a new post. Not sure the concrete goes below grade. Paver job is just ok but not for the amount of money I paid. I had them come back and redo one of the corners. They sort of finished the sanding of the pavers but there are some voids between the bricks. Should be completely filled on a brand new job. Finally, took me a few days to notice today. When they leveled the paver area, they raised my air conditioner unit a few inches. Left it on top of river rock and a brick. It rocks now. From the get-go, I had to call this company back many times as there were so many issues with what I could see from the ground. I contacted them to submit a claim on the warranty, as literal birds are getting in, they told me it was not covered by warranty and that I needed to pay $500 for a custom piece of flashing as well as labor. I contact Pyramid roofing for insight, they could not believe the corners that were cut and how poorly the installation was. I will be reporting this to the BBB and blowing every whistle possible to get the word out on this company. There is so much more I want to say about how horrible it was working with them. Check out BBB, as my family is not the only one to be deceived by Innovative roofing. Another note, Google had locked reviews on this account due to the "suspicion of fake reviews." One of the reasons we loved Holsten was their ability to schedule the job quickly and their punctuality. We have done enough projects to know that finding a contractor who A) responds to messages in a timely manner and B) shows up to the do the work on time, can be hard to find. When Holsten came out to do the bid, they were 15 minutes early and on the 3 days they came out to do the work, they arrived exactly on time or slightly early of the start time. The crew did a great job containing the dust by putting up plastic partitions and limiting the mess where they could. We will absolutely use them again.

I plan to review them in stages. First of all Jim in marketing is amazing to work with. When he came out to talk with us he explained things very well. She is very responsive in regards to calls and emails. She made the finance aspect so easy and seamless. I personally haven't talked much with Marty. The few times I did talk to him, he was very polite and easy to talk to as well. Update now that the project is finished. Everything is still the same up above. Experience from start to end was a breeze. The crew was very quiet, polite, and extremely hard workers. I really don't have much negative to say about them. The few things I would recommend to Marty about the crew is as follows. -make sure they are keeping products, tools, and other items on the property they are working on. -making sure the crew doesn't leave products, tools, and other items on grass for long periods of time (days at a time or on weekends). This includes the new products and also the old product they removed. That's the only somewhat negative I have to say. My husband and I are already talking about more projects to use this company for. Safety First Remodeling does a little of everything. Need a new roof? They do it. Need to do a bathroom remodel?
