I found the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Audiology Group which has continued to provide me with comprehensive and quality services. The accredited group sells a variety of up to date models, does careful fitting, and regularly follows up on my satisfaction and the hearing aids' effectiveness. I really appreciate the consideration and guidance given by the University's faculty members. The Group's successful efforts over time to have several of my aids repaired or replaced by the manufacturers have benefited my hearing ability and have saved me money.

I called to start this process as I did not pursue any treatment options with this clinic and they refused to refund me. Front desk staff acted as if they never have heard of this "free consultation". They said that it goes towards the doctors consultation fee if no treatments are purchased. Bottom Line: The initial consultation is not free. Essentially, it costs $100 to sit down with the doctor. Wouldn't go there unless you are ready to commit to treatment otherwise your $100 will just go out the window.

First, parking is close and easy. Usually you can stay very close to the door. Second, the facility is small and check-in is fast and friendly and the waiting area is immediately accessible. They have a coffee machine, a table or two and standard chairs and couches for family and patients. There's also a TV and a monitor which tracks patient progress through their procedure for any waiting family or friends not inside with the patient. The interior waiting areas for patients having a procedure are standard hospital bays, with no doors, curtain access, but a recliner chair for companions or family members where they can stay throughout if they prefer. The privacy is perhaps minimal, but the access for the care time is easy and open. Every team member I've encountered here has been great - friendly, comforting, and this is important, they all seem to make a personal connection - even if it's small, that makes you feel seen as an individual. Happily, the surgical teams have also done great work on my visits. I am definitely loyal to this system Great care. Made comfortable,

The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues. Once you are in the proper parking structure, it's a quick ride up to the 5th floor. Get off the elevator and go east. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who worked with me, it was either Jodi or Audra. I know very different names from one another but it is was stuck in my mind. She guided me through what to expect, updated my family history and file. She was so descriptive throughout the whole exam of what was happening. She made all my nervousness go away and I was as comfortable as one can be during this kind of exam. She let me know to tell her if I experienced any pain. No pain, just some discomfort but nothing unbearable.

The women who take care of you the technicians, are so kind and wonderful. And the room is not stark. The lighting is low and you feel very comfortable. And now they have 3-D machines in every room. I cannot say enough about the women's pavilion. I will continue to go here for my care.
