Tried three flavors of their ice cream (chocolate raspberry, pistachio, and graham central station) and it was super creamy and flavorful! Loved how they included plenty of mix ins in each flavor such as chocolate, graham crackers, and cookie bits. Highly recommend trying the Graham central station flavor! Such a cute little spot in downtown Pensacola. If you're craving any kind of sweet treat, Bubba's Sweet Spot will most likely have it. We were on vacation last month in Pensacola and decided to walk to the downtown area. We love Pensacola and the small little shops like Bubbas Sweet Spot. There is a small sitting area when you walk in and a narrow area to order and view the sweets. They have everything you might want from Jelly Belly jellybeans (all flavors) to ice cream to macarons .... Well everything! The staff was so nice and efficient!!! My daughter got a giant caramel apple which took her 20 mins to eat - it's vacation so let's get our SUGAR ON!!!! read more

Ice cream is amazing, but the service is awful. The manager, Christa, is very disrespectful. I was inside ordering (I was the only customer there, by the way), and the employee took my order and started making my strawberry milkshake. This employee was very polite and had a great conversation with me. Midway through our conversation, Christa approached and said, word for word, 'Not to be rude, but can you hurry up and leave? You're distracting my employees.' I find this uncalled for; I would never ask a customer to leave for talking with an employee while their order is being prepared. Friendly conversation is good for customer service, and it wasn't affecting anyone, as I was the only customer. Overall bad experience! read more

I have deadly food allergies to dairy eggs and tree nuts, and when my friends and I went into this shop I was not expecting to be able to order anything. However, I was met with the brightest attitude from Jackson, Lowry, and Lorena who went out of their way to accommodate and recommend CHOCOLATE vegan ice cream (which is rare to find in a shop) and made us all leave with a smile. I didn't even have to ask about getting a fresh carton or scoop to avoid cross contamination, they just did it. My friends and I haven't stopped talking about it since we left. This is definitely an upscale dessert/candy shop in downtown Pensacola off Palafox street with homemade fudge, chocolate, candy, and gourmet ice cream. Everything in there, from the bagged candy, to the delicious desserts on display, to the ice cream look excellent. For a family, it's definitely not the least expensive place to go, so watch the prices, but the price matches the location right at Palafox next to a restaurant like Jackson's and almost on the corner of Main Street. I'd recommend it for an ice cream cone after dinner at a restaurant downtown, or after walking and enjoying the area. Locally owned pushes it to the five stars. If I had a recommendation I'd encourage a few more low cost items for large families. They have chairs outside for seating on a nice Pensacola evening to enjoy your dessert. read more

Bubba you need to deal with the employees!!!! OMG the chocolate selection is incredible. My favorite is the chocolate covered espresso beans. They had chocolate covered everything including candied pineapple slices. The Carmel apples looked delicious. And all that fudge!!! Truly it's a chocolataholics paradise. They also sold a selection of ice cream for those hot summer days. I did not get to see it since the line was too long. The only problems I saw was the size of the customer area. We were wandering downtown when we came upon this cute little shop and decided to pop in. What a delight! They have candy all along the wall that you can mix and match and they also have a wide selection of homemade candies and they even have samples! The samples of the fudge I tried were really good- soft and not overly sweet. David decided to get some fudge and I kept it simple with a chocolate and M&M covered pretzel. I got ice cream when we visited back in July 2023. It was amazing! Some of the best ice cream ever. It was also very reasonable. Two very large scoops in a waffle cone for between $6-7 (sorry I can't remember exact price). They had so much to offer with candy, fudge, cookies, and ice cream. The people working were very nice and it wasn't very crowded. We took ours to go, though. There isn't a lot of seating inside and it was way too hot to eat ice cream outside. I really want to go back if we are ever in Pensacola again! read more

He had 100 strawberries dipped in white chocolate and dark chocolate; then drizzled each one with a different colored chocolate. They were beautiful and delicious! This place is a rip off. The "homemade" candies are old. We bought over a hundred dollars worth of stuff and they crammed it all into one tiny bag and then expected a tip. No.. how about you offer fresh stuff instead of what's been sitting for weeks on end and give me a couple bags instead of crushing everything into one bag and then you might get a tip. The wait was pretty long for an ice cream shop. But when I did get my ice cream it was very good. I got an old fashioned ice cream cone with rainbow sprinkles. The ice cream was nice and thick but the cone was a little crumbly. It was a little pricey but cheaper than the place on the peir which is like 5 minutes down the road. Super cute little candy shop! They have every type of candy, sweet, ice cream, you could think of. We got a vanilla milk shake with Reece pieces because we originally wanted a peanut butter one, but they didn't have that flavor of ice cream. It turned out ok. We ended up taking it home and freezing it for a bit and it was better. We also got several of the assorted truffles which were amazing! As well as pecan clusters dipped in chocolate which had caramel in them. These were so much better than just your normally turtles! They were also huge for their size. I believe everything is priced but you pay by the weight, so it was a little more expensive than we initially thought, but well worth it. They are also limiting the amount of ppl in the store right now so just be mindful that you may have to wait outside. read more
