So if you're looking for some ice cream, that's the scoop. Ice cream not soft serve this is the place for you. They serve Hershey's ice cream here so it's pretty good ice cream. All of the standard flavors are there including some exciting ones that are more southern like key lime pie. Now they also have a section where you can get chocolates and different things like truffles and stuff that's dipped. So that was pretty cool to look at. And they also have a gummy section . The section you just fill your bag yourself and then they weigh it at the end. I will say that I'm a gummy connoisseur and I always love me some peachy o's. And I went through the gummy section kind of pressing with the scooper to make sure that they were all fresh before I purchased them. A few were a little bit harder than I expected and I skipped those ones. But I got a ton of bags of different things so most of them were good to go. And I almost forgot they do have taffy that was also fill your own bag and could be weighed at the end. The taffy is something that tripped me up. Because I couldn't really test it like I could. The gummies and they were 100% harder than I would like my taffy to be. You could definitely heat it up in your hands before you chewed it, but it was hard. The ice cream was good and most of the gummies were good. So I would come back. read more

Hershey's brand ice cream is perfect for a hot, sunny beach day. There were a ton of flavor choices--20? We splurged with two scoops each and added hot fudge and whip. (We were on vacation). The shop has a lot of places to sit in the cool and enjoy your scoops. One server was on hand and there was a steady stream of customers. She kept up with orders and requests for tasting spoons (honestly the best part of going to an ice cream shop). It's a pretty decent sizel shop, they had several flavors available and of course you got to sample anything you want. We got cookies and cream in cups. You can't go wrong with ice cream or cookies and cream. The price is reasonable, considering we added he candy that the girls got earlier. Customer service was terrific. The decor is like an old school Ice cream shop. Everything was very clean, organized and they're several selections of ice cream and candy from chocolate rocks to gummi bears. There's plenty of tables if you decide to eat in and there's even a bench outside. So there's no reason, when you're in Pensacola, not stop at the Ice Cream Shoppe. We came by, because my friend said they had really good ice cream. I really thought it was some special homemade ice cream shoppe. But it was actually just Hershey's ice cream. I was a bit disappointed since we have several Hershey's ice cream shop in the Pensacola area. The thing that I actually like were the delicious looking desserts and candies. My daughter loves sweet stuff so of course I had to get her a few pieces of candy. We did get ice cream as well, but since it was late, I decided to get pistachio flavor, which is not as sweet as the rest, yet still satisfying.
