So expensive and they try nickel and dime you. There's not a lot of comprehensive options that are affordable. If you want to pay less than $400 there will be a part of your car that remains dirty. Though they do have complimentary coffee, which was good, everything else comes at a cost. If I'm paying $500 for a car detailing the least you could do is have complimentary water or a snack. My car was clean and the staff were really nice but I get a sense that their hands were tied by the business. So I'm not giving it zero stars but if you're looking for value, I'd go somewhere else. read more

I find this location extremely unprofessional. I had sent my sister in with my car for a BASIC IN AND OUT wash which is usually around $55. Sometimes there's a surcharge for dog hair - which is fine. I get a text with a receipt for $160 VINYL package they up-sold her. They are so sleezy to upsell this to a young girl who obviously had told them a basic in and out and they probably pointed to the pamphlet and said, sure, here it is. WORST. Be wary of their slimely practices. I confirmed with my sister that she told him it was only supposed to be a BASIC in and out clean and he showed her the upgraded package as if it was the only option. She knew something was off which is why she texted a photo of the receipt to me. Despite that I called and acted on this right away the Manager was too greedy to rectify his employee's actions. I took my car in for a complete interior/exterior wash, and this is the worst experience I have had at a car wash. See attached photos for what was missed. They did not wipe down the bottom of the doors or the door sills. Nor did they wipe the back seat down. These remained in the exact condition that they were in when I arrived. They did, however, manage to knock off the plastic casing on the seat adjustment rail, which they just left sitting on the floor behind the seat. In the 1980's around 1982 I was washing my '79 Bel-air there, had been using that car wash for years, the old lady with the jet black hair told me the mat washing machine had ruined my genuine Chevrolet rubber mats so they gave me this cheapo set that looked like crap. Then the next year one of the employees stole the knobs off my much loved Jensen R430 stereo. Don't sit at the counter in the lounge and watch your car being "cleaned." The final outcome is disappointing enough. The prices are astronomical and the obvious effort of the staff to clean cars is depressing. When they say your car is clean and ready, the inside may be fine but the exterior may still be poorly done. For our $60 we got several places where the dirt was moved but not REmoved. The manager, Scott, was full of excuses and pricy added processes, but insisted that anything missed was road tar, even the bug spots. Then there is the added issue of the scrape one the side that wasn't there when we arrived, but COULDN'T ( per Scott) have been caused by the employees or the machinery. Strange! I keep going back because I live close and keep regretting it. I use the wand wash and have many issues: 1) frequently the hot water is off and you cannot clean to any real degree with cold water. 2) the clerk in the evening is comatose, I've tried to engage him even ask a question and I get nothing but a blank stare back. 3) I cannot use the foamy brushes as they are terrible quality and who knows when they were changed last. 4) The rainex rinse spray hasn't worked in years. 5) The pressure is so high yet when done my car looks worse than when I started. I have no problem spending $25 at a good wand wash, but here after $8 you realize you're wasting time and money. In all I use many wand washes, I take care of my cars and I don't get how whatever is going on here works that other than me using a lot of water I cannot ever get my car clean here. read more

The Jasper Ave location has a self-serve wand wash that is barely functional and in total disrepair. I had a machine take a couple of "toonies" without allocating time, so I told a staff member, their response was "I guess you'll have to go find a manager.", that's not exactly an acceptable level of service to me. Their "spotless rinse" broke a couple of years ago and they seem to have decided to use a sharpie to cross out the option, rather than fix the issue on all of their units, That in itself speaks volumes about their attention to detail, which is ironic, considering they're a detailing business. read more

Garden hoses that collapse while trying to clean the car Soap is barely there.. I'm probably scratching my car using the amount of soap they've clearly diluted. Vacuum hose is duct taped.. am I getting the full suction I'm paying for?? The pressure washer line is same level as foam brush... I went to the Bubbles Car Wash on Stony Plain Road for the first time on September 5, 2014 and will never go back. When I pulled up and met with the attendant, he immediately tried to upsell me on what kind of car wash I wanted. It was going to be well over $200 and I kept trying to explain that I didn't want to spend that much so when I said I would just go somewhere else he finally stopped and offered me The Works package for an SUV for a little over $50. I went inside and paid and told the clerk that I had to run an errand across the street and how long would it take and she said about 20 minutes. This seemed like a short amount of time for an interior and exterior cleaning but I didn't argue. When I came back, my vehicle was parked at the back end of the lot, far away from the employees which I think is there plan so that if you have a complaint, you have to get in your vehicle and drive back to the main building to find someone. When I got in to my SUV I could tell right away that it wasn't clean. The carpets were not vacuumed and my back seats were still folded down and they hadn't put them upright to vacuum the 3rd row at all and the interior back there wasn't touched at all back there. There had been bird crap on the right side of my SUV and some of it was still there. I feel silly now that I didn't complain but I am not that assertive and am not good at standing up for myself. In talking to friends after this many of them have said that Bubbles is hit or miss. You can have a great clean or a bad one and there is no predicting how it will be. I should point out this was a Friday morning at 9am and they were not busy. In fact, there seemed to be a lot of employees standing around waiting for cars to show up so you think with that extra time they would have giving my vehicle some extra attention, just to fill the time. Well, I didn't want to have to do this, but a local Bubbles Car Wash & Detail Centres location is leaving me no choice. On the morning of Friday April 10th, 2015 at about 8:30 AM I arrived at the Bubbles location with the intention of getting an interior detail and an exterior wash. My understanding from the commercials aired on TV was they wash the vehicles that come through by hand. Well apparently not on the package I purchased. I was charged 98 some odd dollars for them to clean the interior and exterior. they took about 30 minutes to clean my SUV which really wasn't that dirty. The leather and dash needed to be dusted and polished and the carpets vacuumed. That was it in the interior. On the exterior, there was a small amount a dirt, but you could see the paint clearly and all imperfections. This leads me to my really expensive complaint. When they finished drying my car, by hand I jumped in and drove to the closest BMO which was on 104 Ave, not far from Grant Mac. I parked my vehicle and did a walk around and noticed six (6) new scratches on the passenger side of my vehicle. Now I only purchased this vehicle at the end of January and when I leave my parking spot every morning, I do a walk around my vehicle. Those scratches weren't there in the morning. I was rather angry, but at the time there was nothing that I could do as I needed to get back to a meeting. by the time I was out of my meeting the Jasper Ave location was already closed, so I returned the next morning and spoke with the Manager, Tess. I provided Tess with my explanation of how these scratches weren't there prior to having the services completed by them, and I also provided her pictures of the scratches. these pictures were taken with a DSLR camera in very favorable lighting conditions. She refused to take the pictures that I had printed and instead took pictures with her iPhone. I was very pleasant when I was dealing with the Manager and she was pleasant to me;however, I got the impression that my concern was not being taken strongly. The Manger did offer to look at the camera's and once she did that she would give me a call. Well it is now April 29th, 2014 and I have left two messages for the manager and no I have not received a call. I did; however, procure an estimate for the cost of the damages: Total damages $2,400. Ad the body shop will require my vehicle be left with them for no less than 5-7 business days. On the scratch on the door handle, blue fiber's from the material used at Bubbles was caught in the scratch. I showed this to the manager when I bought my vehicle back. There is no thought in my mind that this was intentionally done. Two (2) of the scratches are completely down to the metal. read more

Ive been a loyal customer of bubbles for years but lately the service has been less then good. The last two times ive been to the 52 ave location ive had to have them run my truck through 2 or 3 times and still does not come out clean . I feel really bad for the girl that brings the vehicles out to the customers and has to keep taking the flack from the unhappy people . She saw the same spots on my truck get missed 3 times and I didnt have the time to wait for the washers to get it right. Xmas eve was the worst it was like get them in and get them out .
