Yeaaahhhh , I went in there a few days ago for the last time. In the past I would stop in for a…read moregallon of diesel or a cold drink. The ugly woman behind the desk was never friendly , and would act annoyed when bothered to get off her phone . So I stop there to get some gas. I go to the counter and count out 7 ones, a $5 bill , and a ten. They were not neatly stacked because they were folded in my billfold. The sow at the register took offense because the money was piled instead of stacked. She said it was "rude" . I asked the ugly sow if she had a boss , and when the boss came he took her side as she had been with him for 10 years. I will go to Buccees where the cashiers are friendlier.. Problem solved !

It's almost like going to shop at a 1960's era store where the butcher will talk to you to help you get what you want and the ladies at the checkout treat you like a friendly neighbor. Even though the prices might not be the lowest around, the selection is good and the customer service more than make up for it. I live less than 5 blocks from a competitor's store but willingly drive to 15+ miles to shop at Stewart's whenever I can.
